Big? Maybe. Tall? Not so much.
I purchased this recliner to replace my old one that was 10 years old. I am 6' tall and I can barely fit in this chair. The seat depth is lacking and my legs hang off the footrest by a foot or more. Structurally, it is well made, but my old recliner, which is a normal overstuffed rocker model, dwarfs this one. I thought being labeled big and tall that is would be much bigger and support my size. Sadly it doesn't.
I normally sit in my old recliner to work from my laptop so I am not in front of my desk all the time as I work from home. I can barely have my laptop board in my lap while sitting in this chair. Due to the shallow seat depth and short footrest, it is not very comfortable to sit and work in at all.
The only plus to this chair is its sturdy construction and lower back support. The sleep position is very comfortable, but if I want to sleep, I will use my bed.
Sadly, I had it shipped to my house due to the pandemic. I'm stuck with it now with no way to easily return it.
