Good Tortilla Pan
Bought this to replace a cast iron comal for use on a glass top stove. Using primarily for Mexican food: tortillas, quesadillas, etc. Seems like a very versatile pan. Stable, no rocking, heats quickly and evenly. Excellent handle. Larger diameter than the standard cast iron comal, but a fraction of the weight. Stores in the oven.

We had to get a pan to replace a cast...
We had to get a pan to replace a cast iron comal that my husband uses to heat tortillas because I have a new smooth top stove and can't use cast iron. This pan is the same size and works very well for that.

Yes, it is a great alternative not only to cast iron but as a comal. Crepe pans make excellent comals because their low sides make it easy to flip tortillas. But I'm no expert like my mother who uses her HANDS to flip tortillas...ouch!! Thank you for sharing, from our global CSS team!
