AnswersHello Joe, The mirror/door is larger that the base so there would be some interference with the doors. However if you have a small gap between them, maybe a 1 x 4 piece of wood that would give each cabinet and anchor for screws and give you enough clearance between doors. Hope this helps. Thank you

AnswersI bought the white powder coat. just seemed right for the bathroom I was putting it in. The mirror is what you see and wouldn't see much of anything else. I love the cabinet. It was easy to install and very sturdy well built cabinet. Very easy to clean. Your choice on finish but you will be getting a well built Medicine cabinet.

AnswersNo, the box is much to shallow to allow for a box and outlet cover. What you could do is put a grommet in it and feed through one end of an extension cord but seeing as it's metal, I wouldn't recommend that.

AnswersYes, there is a mirror available for the outside of the Medicine Cabinet. If it's put into the wall, you obviously won't want the mirror. If it is a surface installation, the owner has the option of installing the Cabinet with, or without, the mirror. My opinion is to install the mirror but it is up to the owner.

AnswersAbout 1/2", but it sticks out from the wall around 3/4" because of the flange around the cabinet. It's not flush with the wall, if that's what you're asking, but it's as close to the wall as any after-market medicine cabinet will ever be.

After remodeling our master bathroom, we wanted to look for a new medicine cabinet that was well constructed and not cheaply assembled together like 99% of the other medicine cabinet. I decided on this mirror because of its promise of metal construction and robust plastic that would last a life time. Upon arrival and initial inspection, the medicine cabinet delivered on those promises and provided extra unique features that make this cabinet stand out above the rest. The frame is a heavy gauge sheet metal extrusion and solidly bolted together, not spot welded or pressed into shape. It also features an inside mirror, as well as an additional mirror on the back of the door. The mirror has been in use for over a month and I would highly recommend this Kholer medicine cabinet to anyone.

This is very nice and sleek looking. I much prefer it to our old one. if you're installing in a new home this is probably perfect...
We were replacing an old one that was put in when the house was built (2002). we had a generic $30 one in there that all the builders use. The problem was this has a smaller foot print than the generic 15 x 26 medicine cabinet. We had to build the wall out almost an inch in some parts. It was more time consuming but it looks fantastic.

Exactly what I was looking for but I did have to keep checking online for availability. It must be a very popular product! I searched many websites before settling on this one for design elements and pricing. I have it recessed where an old one was prior to a remodel...only had to increase the height of the opening to accommodate and it fit perfectly.

I purchased this 15 in x 26 in medicine cabinet for it's recessed mounting capabilities. It is stylish, clean and modern, the perfect addition to my power room. Installation was easy. Simply followed the enclosed instructions. During installation the only thing I would have liked to see was a bit larger surface overlap, the hole in the wall has to be very precise, especially on the sides.

first of all it is anodize aluminum which meen there will be NO rust in the cabinet.
The construction quality is excellent. Beefy frame and beefy hinges. Really feels solid when you use it far more so than anything else I've seen, even at higher prices. There are two glass shelves, also prty thick.
I did a recessed installation, but it comes with mirrored side panels so it looks very nice even if surface mounted. Installation was quick and easy for a recessed mount. A surface mount is a bit more complex, but straightforward - good instructions are provided, as well as all hardware needed.
The front door has a mirror on the front and back, and the back wall (behind the shelves) is also mirrored, so you will not miss your self at any time.
It comes very nicely packed including styrofoam edge guards on all corners, and plastic sheeting on all mirrored surfaces (do not forget to peel off before use). Even UPS can't damage this product!

I've gotten many Kohler products, and have never been disappointed. This one is no exception!
The Good:
The cabinet is aluminum, and not steel. This is ideal for a bathroom, since moisture is always an issue with steel cabinets.
The cabinet has 3 mirrored surfaces! The outer mirror, a mirror on the inside of door, and a mirror at the back of the shelves. This is a first for me, since I've only had the outer mirror before.
Two adjustable hinges vs the typical piano hinge. If the piano hinge somehow gets bent, you have a crooked mirror. I actually broke off the mirrored door once, trying to bend the piano hinge back into place.
This cabinet gives you the option of surface mounting, or recessed mounting. Included with my mirror was the side panels for surface mounting. I'm not sure if this mirror is sold with the panels, or as an option. However, I would suggest if it's an option and you're planning on surface mounting, to get the panels. Check the description to see if they're included.
This is a 3 glass shelf mirror. All shelves are adjustable, and come with the necessary hardware.
The not so Good:
NONE!
Just a note, this is a frame-less mirrored chest. Meaning there is no frame around the mirror. It is a very clean look.
