Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. The Katun towel bar is not designed for installation inside a shower. It has not been tested in this type of installation so how it holds up is unknown. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

I originally added hooks for towels but eventually those became too small to hold towels. This towel bar was super easy to install as it comes with a template which makes it impossible to mess up. It’s is sturdy, looks great & best of all, I can hang up my towels with ease. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It goes well with my current setup and it looks nice. The size (length) is great for hanging a large bath towel or a couple of smaller hand towels.
