It has a very nice, uniform, soft spray pattern. It has a softer spray than many shower heads, but not too soft, and there's still plenty of water force to wash away soap and dirt. My wife and I both love the softness and the width of the spray. Actually one of the best shower heads we've ever experienced. Home Depot has a 90-day return policy, so you can try it out and still return it within 90 days even if you've been using it. (Kohler makes a similar product with 3-functions, instead of single function like this one. We're happy with the single.)
