The following cleaners can be used on your Archer acrylic shower: Clorox Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner, Fantastik Antibacterial Heavy Duty, Green Works All-Purpose, Green Works Bathroom Cleaner Lysol Bathroom Cleaner, Mr. Clean Disinfecting Bath Cleaner with Febreze Freshness, Tilex Bathroom Cleaner and Super Iron Out Rust Stain Remover. To restore scratched units: Apply white automotive polishing compound with a clean cloth. Rub scratches and dull areas vigorously. Wipe off residue. Follow with a coat of white automotive paste wax. Hello Eric, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be happy to answer your question. The shower doors we offer do not require any drilling into the base. I would not recommend to drill holes into the K-9479-G9 base as it can cause cracking and/or leaking to occur. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

Rcm: Call Kohler and get a new re-designed cover.

You prob know by now that the drain cover is a problem. The suction cups break off & the drain area gets moldy and full of hair. Kohler has re-designed this cover. It may be improved? I just ordered one from Kohler. We will see.

Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. An acrylic sheet is warmed and shaped in a mold. A fiberglass and resin mix is applied for strength and then it is rolled to remove air bubbles. Wood reinforcements are placed before another later of fiberglass is added. The completed unit weighs 58 pounds. Installation instructions require mounds of floor-leveling compound be placed at the shower base feet. K-9132 is the recommended shower drain for this receptor. The Choreograph wall collection system is recommended for the walls and any of our glass doors that are compatible with a 60" finished opening are compatible with this receptor. Larger receptors include: Archer K-9395 (60" x 60"), Groove K-9996 (60" x 42"), and Rely K-8659 (60" x 42". Please work with your local The Home Depot for pricing and availability on this product. This is beyond slippery and dangerous. We bought a new home that the builder had installed this pan and it's slick as ice. Even the shower mats with suction cups won't stick to it. We now have safety hand bars install all over the shower walls to keep from slipping when the water, soap and shampoo get added to the slick surface. We are going to have to have the entire cultured marble shower walls removed just to get a pan that is safe. No idea why they sell this product. This an accident waiting to happen.

Sterling does offer custom doors, including with return panels, however as they are custom the measurements are taken from your finished installation and finished walls as wall material thickness can vary. Patty, I know you asked this question 3 years ago, but did you know Kohler has re-designed this cover/hood thing? Call Kohler and get a new cover. I am waiting for mine.
