    Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. Most of our handshowers are compatible with this slide bar. Move the hose through the opening and lower the handlshower into position. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

    Yes the hand held slider is adjustable for tilting as well as lowering and raising. We have had this product for 6 months, so far no issues!

    Large Plates hide holes
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace a failed (Kohler) shower slidebar installed by our builder 14 years ago (possibly without reading all the directions). The old bar was discontinued so we could not just replace the failed part. This new one with the optional larger face plates did the trick. Perfect cover for the old holes and a very secure and modern look for our shower. We read the directions and the install went great!

    The slide bar is heavy duty, easy to assemble and adjust length. Very impressed with the slide mechanism and brushed nickel finish was true to other brushed nickel items in my shower.

    It looks okay and was not hard to attach. The only problem is that the head attachment is not as flexible as my old one, which was also a Kohler. The head doesn't tilt. It moves up and down and side to side but doesn't tilt.

    So many cheap adjustable bars for shower heads out there . . . This one is very solid in design and machining. It is not designed to be a grab bar, but if attached to a stud, it could certainly hold 100lbs easily. The measurements on the drill spacing were off - check it first.
