    Q:Is there a way to adjust the tightness of the swivel joint? The one I bought is very hard to move; I'm afraid that once it is installed, it will either get pulled off the wall or break the handheld if I try and adjust the position.

    A:  Hi MontanaDIYer, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I am glad to address your question. There is no way to adjust the tightness of the swivel, however, it will feel harder to swivel the bracket before it is installed. Once it is secure to the wall and a handshower and hose is hanging in it, the swivel will be easier to adjust. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

          The product materials are excellent. I bought it in conjunction with the 90 degree hose connection (which I give 5 stars, for perfect fit with the included brass nipple.) The problem with the wall bracket is that it requires drilling two 3/16" holes to mount the bracket. I have level 5 hardness porcelain tile, and it will require purchasing a specialized drill bit to make the mounting holes. My standard masonry bit would not penetrate my tile. This should be noted in the product description. Also, remember to check the circumference of the neck of your hand held shower head. This one didn't fit my old (but still useable) 5 spray head so I had to purchase another one. Kohler doesn't sell a 6" square head so I bought it from another manufacturer.
