Hook was beautiful. Would work perfectly for robes with loop but did not hold large towels well. Since it did not serve my needs I returned it.
Beefy mounting. Pretty shape. Easy to install. Good quality chrome. Looks like a "period" piece.

I have had these hooks for a long time - can't remember, but maybe 8-9 years - since our remodel. I put cheaper ones downstairs, and they have been breaking off. These haven't budged. Also, I have less trouble with towels falling off these than the cheaper slim ones. I love the look of these hooks. We have a modern country pottery barn looking house, and bought a few of these in brushed nickel. I found one spare I bought, just in case, in a closet. Almost ten years later, I haven't needed to replace any. Since they are still making them, I'm going to replace my cheap ones downstairs with these.
Beautiful, sturdy, and easy to install.

We bought this hook to replace one that had failed (different product, different brand). This hook looks as if it will stand the test of time.
