What a great product ! We have had the KOHLER C3 155 Electric Bidet Seat for about two months now and we love it. After installing an adjacent GFI plug, the package comes with all new flexible white piping and fittings to connect to a toilet. It has many unexpected features: The seat is automatically kept warm or cool as needed. It's washing and drying functions will only operate when you're sitting on. With the press of a button, a nozzle automatically adjusts as needed to your front and rear. The water is automatically heated or cooled as needed. The stainless steel washing nozzle automatically adjusts to spray or pulsing as desired. When a cycle is completed, the nozzle retracts & automatically cleans itself. When washing is completed, a dryer blows cool or warm air as desired. Toilet paper is no longer needed . When you leave the toilet seat, an automatic deodorizer filters the surroundings. It has a built in blue light that kills bacteria. It turns on automatically when you turn the bathroom lights off. It doubles as a great night lite. Both Kohler and Home Depot had a home run with this product. We love it, BOBM1

Love this product. Really wanted one with remote but would have had to get a different toilet. Anyway, I was kind of worried about seat size since lots of reviews mentioned seat size was shortened due to mechanics. And also how it slanted. We did not experience either of those. The seat is comfy and just the right size. Husband says it was very easy to install. Controls are a little too far back but after a few days I'm sure we'll have the pad memorized. That should eliminate turning to see controls. I also took a pic of controls with my iPad to use as a reference. The self cleaning wand provides confidence in cleanliness of the unit. We just installed it earlier today. And we love it. And it looks nifty in the room.

    Almost Perfect
This is an amazing device that has great function and versatility. As I age, personal hygiene can take longer and become more difficult. This bidet toilet seat provides options for personal cleanliness as well as help keeping the toilet more hygienic. It senses your presence when you sit on it and begins to heat the seat and water to provide a light, pleasant stream, either to the front or backside. After you feel clean there is a button to gently dry the area. All this is amazing, but waits there is more.....a UV light that kills bacteria, and a nightlight that make those late night strolls a bit safer. I am pleased, very pleased and feel it was worth installing a GFCI wall plug nearby. However, I do wish that it came with a remote or wall touchpad. It can be difficult to hit the correct button while seated at night without my glasses! There are other models with remote controls with the same features but at a higher price point. So, I created a cheat-sheet and taped to the wall until I get use to the feel of where the buttons are located. This is a high quality, well designed electric bidet toilet seat.

    A must-have in every bathroom
I love this bidet, it was really easy to install, but for some reason the T-valve keeps leaking water even though I have it tight. I wish the top of the T-valve was made of the same plastic with the little wings sticking out so I can just tighten with my hand instead of using the wrench since there is not much room behind my toilet to get there with a wrench. The features in this bidet are awesome, it's really nice to have all the buttons on the side. It even has a night light. The seat is slow closed and both the seat and lid go up and are able to stay up. I know some bidets don't allow the seat to stay up, so this is nice to have, at least it makes cleaning easier. I highly recommend this bidet, it's quality made and easy to install yourself.

Feature rich, but shortens effective length of seat
Installation Is relatively simple. Parts are included for mounting on toilets that have either the tradition seat mounting holes or the newer threaded insert type. The process required removing the existing seat, and attaching the bidet using its own bracket. The bracket is designed to allow the bidet to be slid on and hold it in place. There is a mechanism that allow it to be slid off for cleaning as needed. My unit will sometime not click into the bracket on one side and need to be pushed in repeatedly before it clicks in and is secure. The water connection is also straightforward. A T-Piece is supplied that allows the connecting tube to be attached to the toilet supply. So one has to shut off the water to the toilet, unscrew the supply hose and add the new T-piece and water line. The seat end of the water pipe has a metal fitting on the end which has to be screwed onto a nylon threaded connector on the underside of the seat. It was rather hard to get it onto the fitting and I was worried that the force I had to use to get the thread started would break something. I managed to get it on and thread OK, but it made me double check that it was the right size fitting initially. The biggest hurdle to installation is of course having a power socket close enough for the unit to be plugged in. I added a new duplex outlet on the wall at the height of the toilet tank. The location was close to a power line running past in the basement below which made the job relatively easy. If you are building or renovating, add GFCI power outlets near the toilets. For existing bathrooms you may have to have an electrician install an outlet for you. Once that is in place it is just a matter of plugging in the unit in. I installed the seat on an American Standard one piece toilet. Being very tall, I much prefer the long seat standard over the older round seats. This bidet unfortunately makes the usable length of the seat substantially smaller. The seat has rather a strange slope dowards from the back to the front and one ends up sitting much further forward, which is my case is too far forward. Usage The bidet has a good set of features. It has the front and back wash options, a dryer blower, a deodorizer, a cleaning mode and it even has a night light feature that fills the toilet with a wonderful blue light when the room is dark. Automatic cleaning is performed every 24 hours. Certain functions have settings to control the characteristics of the seat. For example you can control the temperature of the seat, and the water. You can control how hard the water sprays and if the sprayer oscillates. The front to back position of the wand is also adjustable. The settings and controls are all made through a panel on the right hand side of the seat. I find the control panel a little far to the rear and I have to twist around to look back at it. The status of the settings are all indicated with LEDs but they use a peculiar coding system using 3 lights and various flashing modes to indicate the current setting. The documentation states that the status lights are displayed on the remote control, but there is no separate remote and I assume they are referring to the control panel itself or some other model that comes with a remote display. The instructions do not describe what the flashing and non flashing lights indicate. I think that a flashing LED indicate “plus half” so one light and one flashing means 1.5, 2 steady lights = 2, 2 steady and the third flashing = 2.5 and three constant = 3, etc. I have taken off one star for the shortening effect of the seat. We have another bidet seat that does not reduce the length as badly. I took off another star for the insecurity of the seat clipping onto the bracket. With improvement in those two areas it would be much better, and if the length is not too critical for you, just ensure it is properly clipped in. Three year limited warranty

This should be in your bathroom
Out of all the heated items that can finish off a bathroom… heated towel rack, heated floor, etc… this is by far the best. As a bathroom fixture that is peculiarly amiss in nearly every bathroom in the United States, the bidet is a curious contraption. However, I’m happy to say that this high tech bidet is worth every penny! A super warm seat to sit down on and hot water to clean up! Installation is fairly easy. Remove the old seat, thoroughly clean the toilet and remove the water line to the tank (there are two hoses and a T connector provided) and you’re ready to go. The instructions say you’ll need an adjustable wrench and Philips head screwdriver. I used a crescent wrench, a flat head screwdriver (there were no Philips head screws to be found) and a shallow pan to catch the drips from removing the water line from the tank. I’ve changed out enough toilets to know that this is a necessary thing, but I’m sure many people won’t know this and end up with a puddle of water on their bathroom floor. Aligning the bracket was an interesting process. I just to push it as far back as possible for the first dry run, which was almost where it needed to go. The bracket attaches just like any other toilet seat does. With that done, you tighten it on, and then slide the bidet seat onto the bracket. It snaps right into place (once you jiggle it around a bit). I found that I had to connect the water line to the bidet before snapping it onto the bracket, otherwise I could not access the nut on the water line. Fully installed, I tested it in the manner suggested in the instructions: put plastic wrap over the toilet, place your right palm on the seat and press a button .This worked, and the wand came right out and did its thing. The functionality is quite varied, and there are plenty of ways to clean yourself up! There is also a night light, but its blue glow was so bright I had to disable it. Another downside, is that because it has a small water tank in it, the unit is very large. This decreases the side of the actual seat, so you’ll see that your elongated toilet seat shrinks down to a round toilet seat. There is a fan to dry off after a spray… but unless you’re going to sit there for twenty minutes, it doesn’t really do anything.

    Gotta Love This Seat
Per Kohler's installation manual this bidet requires a 120 volt 15 amp dedicated line with a 15 amp GFCI outlet placed within 32 ins. of the bidet seat. I don't have that. I also don't have an attic and I don't have a basement. Installing this line will require a few hours in a 3 ft. high, dirt floor, crawl space. In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered up with a 12 ga. 20 amp extension cord plugged into a 15 amp GFCI outlet in the next room. The installation of the seat is very simple, the only tools you'll need are a flat head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or a pair of pliers . Remove the old seat, clean and disinfect the bowl, screw down the new mounting bracket and snap on the seat. The mounting bracket has a large range of adjustability to get the seat positioned just right. The water connection is done with the supplied chromed metal "T" fitting placed between the supply line and the toilet tank. The water feed from the bidet screws onto this fitting. Plug in the power cord and you're done. They also included a supply line, from the tank to the "T" fitting, in the event yours is iffy. I replaced a non-electric bidet seat and was able to reuse the old "T" fitting. The seat has a built-in safety switch which disables all function until it senses weight on the right side of the seat. The LED control panel offers a ton of features. Front cleaning (3 pressure settings), rear cleaning (3 pressure settings), automatic wand extension for manual cleaning, dryer (3 speed settings), heated seat (3 temperature settings), water temperature (3 temperature settings), oscillate / pulsate spray, manual UV sanitize button and deodorizer button. There's also a very cool night light which can be switched off if you don't want it. For cleaning purposes the seat is easily removed from its mounting bracket with a push of a button. If required, the self-cleaning stainless steel retractable spray wand can be cleaned manually with a soft bristled brush and hot water. There's also a 45 minute UV disinfecting cycle which activates automatically once every 24 hours. My well water has a high sediment content, I have filters throughout the house, Thankfully Kohler included a removable filter screen to trap the contaminates before they reach the water reservoir. The seat's a pleasure to use. No more icy cold water, although, that was an eye opener first thing on a winter morning. I lived in Europe where bidets are a common fixture and I can assure you that once you own one you'll appreciate this appliance. Kohler includes a 3 year limited warranty from the date of installation for normal residential use.

    Unusable
Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy this seat. It may work for others but being 6’-1”, the way the back of the seat is raised, forces you forward basically past the opening of the seat. I mounted the seat but never connected the water or used it. unfortunately this is sitting boxed in our garage now. there is no returns on these seat, which my vendor did not indicate and is not listed on the downloadable specification sheet. I would definitely try sitting in one before you purchase. Very frustrating and waste of money.

Since this is the ONLY bidet that fits the Kohler one-piece toilets, we had no other choice. The unit was relatively easy to install, the old toilet seat was almost impossible to remove. While Kohler products are top of the line, they are super difficult to work on. This unit works fine and our son loves it.

      Can't wait for the go!!
I have been wanting one of these for a long time after using bidet toilets in Asia for many years. Couldn't be happier. As a matter of fact I'm ordering another one for our second home but it is currently out of stock. It will be worth the wait.

      Superb seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed this 6 weeks ago. So far it has been a great purchase. It had all the necessary pieces to install the seat. The controls are easy to understand and use. The only complaint so far is that there were no instructions included. I did open the installation manual from online and that made it easier even though it wasn't accurate. You have to install the water to the seat before you attach the seat as there isn't room between the bowl and the seat to do it after the seat has been installed. Based on that, the electronic instructions could be better. It only caused a slight delay in the install. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting one of these for years and finally got it! The warm seat can be adjusted to a perfect temp. The bidet function is awesome with heated water (temp can also be adjusted) and different spray options with different water pressure settings. I also like that it cleans the wand with a UV light every night. Every post-partum mother should have this small luxury in their life!!!
