Q:Model # R79221 claims to be slow closing doors, yet only the small side is slow closing. Am I missing something here or is there a way to her replacement hinges that slow close in the larger side also?

I love it even more after a year.
Soft close. Frameless. Mirrors on the inside back as well! Easily adjustable shelving.
I was a bit worried at first about spending over $200 on a mirror, but it was an excellent choice. Mine is 23" high and 30" wide and I love it. Would I change anything? Mine is set people up to 6'-4" can see their hair, but the bottom edge is 4', so short people can't. Maybe a taller mirror? Another 6" of height would not interfere with my faucet, but I chipped the edge when installing it, cannot return it.

mirror started to rust after 18 months
LOVED this vanity mirror. perfect for our sleek bathroom. But the mirror just started to rust after 18 months only. it gives a college apartment look to the bathroom. very disappointed

Good As Expected
I installed the Medicine Cabinet flush mount. All the hardware was included. Follwing the directions it was straight forward. Because it was a fluch mount installation it helped having done an installation previously.

Sorry I waited so long to do this!
This is a huge upgrade. The existing cabinet had many issues, this one is an absolute joy. The entire thing is mirrored - inside both doors AND the back wall, even the outside edges. Loving the ease of opening/closing, too.

Looks great, very nice price
Love all the mirrored surfaces because we had to do surface mount instead of in the wall. Slow close works pretty good. Afraid of constant fingerprints, but glad there is no old fashioned trim or bezel around the edges

Surface mount is difficult
The included hardware for surface mount has problems. The mounting clips for top of cabinet seem flimsy and appear to be a design afterthought. I used the old mounting bar from my old medicine cabinet instead. The included screws for the side brackets do not thread. I used #8 machine screws with nuts instead. Besides the hardware issues, the cabinet looks nice and feels reasonably sturdy.

Unsecure top attachment
This cabinet only attaches at each end in the top side of the cabinet. If there is no stud there, the cabinet will fall off the wall. Ours did 3 days after being mounted.The brackets are not adjustable, a design flaw in my opinion, and a safety hazard.

Very nice looking.
Very nice looking and the quality seems to be there since it's a Kohler product. packaged well and only complaint was small spot on bottom of mirror that has the coating off of it. wouldn't be a problem if I could find the frame that is sold additionally or of it was on the top of the cabinet and not visible like it is on the bottom.

Love This!!
Our master bathroom did not have a medicine cabinet - and we didn't think we needed one at first. Flash forward, and we realized how useful they are and how much we needed one. We surface mounted this on a stud. The bracket is not predrilled - so you can drill the holes specific to your home's needs. WARNING - make sure you position the side mirrors carefully - I was a little off and there is no repositioning with the tape used. I was a little concerned about the mirrors sticking to the sides - no worries there. The glue tape used is super strong!! The shelves are stout and the quality of this cabinet is excellent for the price. Very please with this purchase!!
