Slow close medicine cabinet
Easy install of this modern slow close medicine cabinet. Mirror is clear both on the outside and inside. Shelving is staggered which is great. Highly recommend

inside powder coat had stuck
The inside powder coat on the cabinet stuck to the door and the piece is damaged. We thought it was just dirt but it was actually pulled away from the surface. You can see in the picture below. Unfortunately, our contractor was scheduled to install it so we could not return it and get a replacement the same day. Very disappointed in the quality. Looks awful. The rest of my remodeled bathroom is Kohler but I am wondering now if I made a mistake with their products and will return them.

Bought 2 of these and recessed both in our bathroom...
Bought 2 of these and recessed both in our bathroom walls in a single day. That includes curring sheet rock, cutting studs and framing 2x4s in the wall. Instructions were great and Koehler's videos were super helpful. Very happy with this medicine cabinet. Soft closing doors is a nice feature and the ability to mount so that the door opens in the desired direction is great.

KOHLER Flat Edge 16 in. x 20 in. Recessed Soft Close Medicine Cabinet with Mirror
Two caveats: 1) I ordered this for in-wall installation in a powder room; as it turns out, there are studs in the wall that prevent a simple installation. I will build a box and surface mount this unit. 2) This is going in new construction; at the time of the review, incomplete painting and flooring prevented me from doing the installation.
I opened the box, and inspected the cabinet carefully, and reviewed the installation instructions. Quality is superb, with a very nice substantial feel. The cabinet is very nice with mirrors in the inside and outside of the door, as well as the back of the cabinet. Exposed metal surfaces where the recessed cabinet overlaps the wall are stainless steel. There are 2 glass shelves provided which can be mounted at various heights.
The cabinet can be mounted with the door opening to the right of left by simply rotating the cabinet 180º. It is meant to be installed in a typical 2x4 framed drywalled wall . The cavity needs to be framed to accept the 18"H x 14"W recessed cabinet. Attachment is through the sides of the cabinet interior to the framing on the right and left side.

Very nice recessed medicine cabinet! Looks stylish and modern. I love the no-frame mirrored look on the door. This has two glass shelves (5 adjustable height locations) and the entire inside has polished stainless steal walls with the back panel and inside doors mirrored. The cabinet and door are rather heavy and the whole thing is solid and well made. It has good quality hinges on the door, however I do wish they were "soft-close" to prevent slams (my only con). One special thing to note; pay attention to the warning sticker on the front mirror when you unbox this. It clearly states to leave the protective film attached to the mirror and glass shelves during installation and to remove it after. I removed it from the shelves, and mistakenly clanked the shelves lightly together and it produced an unnoticeable chip on the side of one of them. It’s fine, but when installing, I’d suggest taking your time and being extra careful! Two people recommended. The box includes four 1-1/2” stainless mounting screws, four clear silicone-like bumper “dots” to place on the inside door, and eight shelf supports (4 for each shelf). Instructions included as well, and seem straight forward to me. This one is for the second bath. Love it!

I love full mirror look on the outside, you get a mirror on the inside door and a back wall mirror, very nice look !! This one has a cool White powder-coat, adjustable glass shelves, can be installed recessed or surface mounted in less than an hour and is made with rust-free anodized aluminum and has a slow close door !! This KOHLER mirror will make a Great addition to you Bathroom !!

Our guest bathroom never had a medicine cabinet and getting this one was great. It looks great and it has great space. It took some work to get it installed because we had to cut a hole in the wall for it to fit but once it was in, it looks great. It gives some additional storage that my kids definitely needed. This medicine cabinet more than met our expectations.

Great product! We needed more storage space in our bathroom and this medicine cabinet did the trick. The installation is very easy with the given instructions as we decided to install it recessed into the wall. This width is ideal as it can be installed perfectly in between two studs. Just needed to add some simple frame members to support the cabinet on the bottom and sides. You can cut into a stud if needed based on the desired location however it will require some additional framing to support the medicine cabinet.
The mirrored finish is very stylish and even the inside has a mirror finish as well.
