Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. Yes; both the seat and bowl are elongated so they are compatible. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
Hi Kathy, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. Kohler does not specify a weight limit on our toilet seats. These seats are designed to pass the industry standard ANSI Z124 Plastic Toilet Seat Test Requirements for residential toilet seats. This specification calls out static load tests of 300 lbs. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
No, it is plastic.
Hi Don, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. At this time, we do not offer handicap rails that attach to this toilet seat. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
Very strange. I wonder if you have something too tight? In any event, take a few drops of olive oil and simply oil the hinges. We love ours and it's silent.
Yes you should have no problem. Fits to a "T" Good products.
Hi Linda, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. Kohler's Comfort Height, by definition found on us.kohler.com, states: "The height of a toilet bowl (with seat) that stands at the same height as a standard chair measuring between 17” and 19” for maximum comfort and ease when sitting down or standing up." All of our Comfort Height toilets measure 16-1/2" from the floor to the rim of the bowl (before seat). All Kohler standard height toilets will measure under 16" (without the seat). Thank you for choosing Kohler.
My Kohler Cachet toilet seat cracked in the back center of the seat after only one year. Two other friend's Kohler seats cracked also. Inferior product!
We bought the same one and we are experiencing the exact same problem. The seat has cracked in the middle of the front, and it is slowly splitting in half. Ours is newer than yours and it is unbelievable. We couldn’t figure out how it happened. Now I know that it’s defective. The toilet sent to us initially in same color style etc was defective — flushed but just wouldn’t take any paper down. They were great and replaced it. Better now, but we were told we just have to hold the handle down till all debris is removed. We installed a white toilet exactly like it and it works beautifully, no need to hold handle. Two plumbers have looked at the almond one but they just said something is defective in the almond one. We were tired of fooling with it so have accepted it. But the seat splitting?????? Really?????
