This product looks great, but the off position is with the handles in am upward position and might be a fatal design flaw: after 2 weeks of using this new faucet the handles droop back down after you turn them off and the faucet is now full time leaking. There does not appear to be any way to fix this in the installation guide that came with it; there are numerous similar complaints on Home Depot’s website, Kohlers website doesn’t offer any information on how to fix this problem.

Absolutely love the vintage charm that this fixture has. It went perfect with our vanity and works wonderfully.

I wanted something different for our bathroom and when this popped up in my search, it was love at first sight. Our plumber installed these with no issues and they look amazing. The reason I left off one star was because of the drain plug. After only 2 days since they were installed, the finish on the drain plug looks water stained. The sink hasn't been used much so that's my only complaint.

I purchased this because I love the old fashioned industrial look. Within one week the cold handle refused to remain in the upright off position. It slightly tilts down, at this time the faucet is not dripping. Had I known this would happen I would’ve chosen differently.

Installed and the hot water keeps turning on by itself. Only had it installed for 1 week when this started. Handle has never stood straight up and down like cold water does. 4 times its turned on.

Beautiful! Love this faucet! I purchased it because I had a very small vanity area and I could not be more thrilled with how it looks and fits. I chose not to put the plate on the bottom when installed so that there was more granite shown and I love it. Very very easy to install. I did have to purchase an adapter kit to connect to my existing valves. The only bummer is you have to buy the whole kit even though you may only need the one adaptor.

Fixture is basically self contained and completely assembled. All you have to do is place the hot and cold water lines through the center hole in the sink and connect to your hot and cold wall angle stops. So simple. The one and only thing that I really didn't care for was the fact that the supplied cover to cover the unused holes on a 3 hole sink is plastic. You must be very careful not to over tighten the fixture onto the sink. Other than that, I thought it was super easy to install and looked great.

Looks really nice once installed. Installation is extremely straightforward. You are given everything you need for both a single hole and three hole sink. Typical 4" hole offset. The one thing that I was m mildly disappointed with was the fact that the drain and the hole cover, that covers the unused holes, were made of plastic. You have to be careful not to over tighten them or they will crack. Other than that, a very solid and rich looking appearance. Easy to clean as well.

This product is a Kohler faucet. It is made to be a standard in quality and elegance. The brushed nickel finish blends into nearly all environments. This is a beautiful fixture with smoothly operating handles. Pull down handles let you turn the water on or off without getting soapy or dirty hands all over the handles. This faucet is different from a typical 4” fixture. You would normally find a hot water valve and cold water valve that extend down from the unit and go through separate holes in the sink surface that are 4” apart and there is a 3rd hole centered between them for the drain valve rod to open and close the sink drain lid. This fixture has a SINGLE down tube with 2 water hoses that extend out the metal tube opening. It only needs one hole (at least 15/16” diameter). The kit has a plate to cover and seal off the unused holes when used with a sink that has 3 holes with the outer holes 4” apart. You could also seal off the holes with a circular plate. If this fixture is used and you want to use a built-in soap dispenser also, you need to put this fixture at one side; leave the center hole unused (but seal it) and put the soap dispenser on the opposite side. This is because the handles of the faucet will interfere with the faucet of soap dispenser. The spout of the this faucet has a screen diffuser at the spout opening. The spout does not unscrew from the riser but the screen can be removed to be cleaned by a tool (blue in color) that is part of this kit. My original use for this faucet was for a main floor shower room. We have fish tanks in the room next door and we need to be able to remove the entire spout tip to put a hose over the spout to get water to the fish tanks. We will use it in the master bedroom bathroom instead. The drain tube with the kit is the kind that opens and closes by pushing down on the chrome drain plug top. Push down to close and push down to open. The kit drain will accommodate a sink that is a maximum of 2 inches from the top surface of the sink drain hole to the surface of the hole bottom of the drain hole. Only a pedestal sink top might be a problem as it has a thicker base. This drain tube is also compatible with sinks that have an “Overflow” hole in the sink that keeps the sink from spilling over if the water is left on. The water goes into this hole and is channeled to the hole near the top of the drain tube. This tube hole is always open to the drain pipe even if the drain tube top is closed. The water hoses that come out of the faucet fixture are compatible with the 3/8” water valves and are sealed with a washer seal in the ends of the water hoses. You do not need to use plumber’s tape, but you will need tighten the connection enough to stop the water from leaking. Attaching the faucet fixture to the sink surface is simple. Insert the faucet into one of the two (one hole or 3 hole) covers and slide it up against the bottom of the faucet. Insert the faucet into the sink hole. Put the rubber washer over the tube. Follow this by a simple meal ring. Insert the tiny bolts into the threaded brass ring. Hand screw the brass ring onto the bottom of the fixture until it is against the bottom of the sink. You then need to secure the ring further onto fixture with a wrench. A “Basin” wrench helps with this task. I have also used a small length “Channel Lock” pliers or plumber’s pliers (shown in instructions). Each of these tools is awkward with your hands above your head while you are inside a sink cabinet. I find the correct size the basin wrench is the easier to use. Proper tightness is when the faucet fixture does not rotate easily. Use screwdriver to secure the threaded ring screws into the thin ring so the ring will not unscrew. I hope you enjoy the faucet for a long time.
