Pretty straightforward installation instructions. If you can turn a screw or bolt, you can install this faucet. The only issue I had was that the base spun, turing the handle after installation. I removed from the countertop & after manipulating the base, it suddenly stopped turning freely. I re-installed & haven had that issue since. I have noticed at times when turning the faucet off, there is a faint click sound from the valve/cartridge area (water hammer effect?). This is a beautiful faucet. It's been in about a month & I'm very pleased so far.

Spray hose connection leaks, sending water spraying everywhere! So disappointing - can't use it at all without getting myself and the whole area wet. Photo shows what happens with just minimal water pressure. Will have to replace the whole unit.

I really love the new faucet. Didn't need the soap dispenser. Kind of feel like I paid for something that I did not need. future suggestion would be to sell the soap dispenser separately. Faucet Works awesome especially the spray feature. A little weird that the hot setting is at the bottom, but you get used to it after a while.

I trusted Kohler brand and chose one more expensive than others on the store and hoped it worked well. Unfortunately, the design is very poor. It is too tall and the water stream is very hard. When I use it , water spills everywhere around the sink. I have to pull the spray head done and hold it with a chip in order to use it. See the picture. Of course it looks very ugly and my husband and children hate the way I did. I adjusted water under the sink to minimal as instructed by Kohler call center. It did not help. When my friends came to house and saw the ugly clip on the faucet head, they were very disappointed that Kohler designed a faucet like this. It has created a bad image for Kohler. Although I am able to return the faucet to home depot store, but I have to pay uninstall and another installation fee to the handyman. I purchased this faucet in home depot and have the handyman installed in my kitchen . It is for replacing previous Kohler faucet from the builder. The sink is Kohler too.

We've had this faucet about two months. It's the first time I've used a faucet with a pull-out sprayer. The handle took some getting used to, but when we tried them at the store, some of them seemed to swing all around and you couldn't figure out hot and cold. This one moved better. There is almost too much water pressure; my husband says it is because of the way the spout goes up and then water is forced down. It's very splashy and I have to be careful turning it on. That's the only downside to me. My husband installed it; he is good at these things. I noticed that someone else said they took out flow regulators or something like that; but we did not. Our clear soap came out of the dispenser blue, so we just kept pumping til it became clear. The sprayer is awesome and works really great. Truly sweeps things around.

Avoid this faucet like the plague. The faucet leaked from the attachment point between the sprayer attachment and water line attachment two months after installing - the leak drained from my kitchen, into the cabinets which are now water logged and down to my basement ceiling. Sad - Kohler was a premium product not long ago. What's happened to their quality control? I purchased the Carmichael after returning another Kohler faucet which leaked one (1) day after install. Come on, Kohler. Are you even trying?

Hi may, my name is Sarah with KOHLER Customer Service. I am so sorry to hear your new Carmichael faucet leaked from the hose/spray connection. This is unusual. We would first recommend hand tightening this connection to see if it was just a loose connection. We are concerned to hear about the damage to your ceiling and would like to connect you with a member of our Technical team for further assistance. Please email us directly at KohlerCustServ@kohler.com. We look forward to helping you soon! -Sarah B. KOHLER Customer Service

I bought this at Home Depot and had the faucet installed by a trusted local plumber. Water Pressure (+) - I read the reviews on this faucet after I bought it (doh!) and was worried about the negative reviews of water pressure. I can confirm that the water pressure is GREAT on both standard and spray modes. For what it's worth, I did ask my plumber to remove any pressure regulators from the spray head in fear of low pressure, but he said that he didn't see any in the spray head. Lever (-) - The lever looks larger to me out of the box and installed than it did in the picture. The size and design reminds me a little bit of a slot machine lever. Overall - 4 stars. I reserved the last star for reliability. Since I've only had the faucet installed a couple of days now I can't yet comment on reliability.

Adding pictures to show my install
Not sure how to edit an existing comment, so I started this new one to add some photos I took of my installation. It shows how I oriented the handle due to the tight space I was working with.
