what can I do to keep the hose in place? It comes out and the tank will not completely fill.

AnswersIf you are referring to the vinyl tube in the tank, it should be pressed firmly onto the metal retainer clip and that clip must be secured to the refill tube. If the clip is loose, squeeze it together to make the gap smaller and reattach to the tube. If the clip is broken it can be easily replaced at any hardware store.
We have a new toilet and the seal between the tank and bowl. Koehler sent a new gasket and it is still doming the same

AnswerHi Mike, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm very sorry to hear your Cimarron toilet tank is leaking at the tank/bowl connection. This may indicate the tank outlet is not centered on the bowl inlet, before tightening the bolts evenly. We suggest putting the tank on the bowl with the gasket centered on the bowl inlet. Wiggle it around to ensure it is centered. Only after it is centered, start putting the nuts on and tightening the nuts (evenly) and leveling the tank. I bought 3 Koehler toilets in the past 3 years for each of our bathrooms. I have 2 of these and the same problem with the handle sticking in the down position and the flushing mechanism staying in the upright position causing the toilet to continuously run. It’s very annoying when we have people over and have tried everything to fix. When they work properly it’s a decent toilet.

When I first ordered the toilet was told that it came with the toilet seat but it didn't $60 more. My wife hates the comfort height it is Too Tall, I had to buy a EZ Go to put underneath for her to be able to use the bathroom comfortably. I was very unhappy with the salesperson who placed the order for me because he did not inform me that the toilet was a comfort height toilet and did not have a toilet seat included with it. Over $400 for a toilet and toilet seat that I'm not happy with it's a shame.

This fixture replaced an older Kohler round-front two-piece toilet that couldn't flush worth a darn. Based on the Kohler reputation and positive previous experience I disregarded the fact that the older fixture was from the same company and after reading several glowing reviews we picked this one, but in the 1.6 GPF version rather than the 1.28. The clearance was tight, but after careful measurements, I concluded that this one would fit, and it does (the door swing clears it by about 3/4".
The unit shipped with the wrong size tank-to-bowl seal, and it was a bit of a nuisance having to go back to find the right one in the middle of the project. The flushing action is quick, quiet, and effective, even with the water level in the tank set at the lowest possible level. There was a problem with the flush valve running after several weeks, and Kohler Customer Service was useless in terms of addressing this issue, sending me the wrong part as a fix. But I found a great fast no-cost solution on line at http://www.justanswer.com/plumbing/8641b-kohler-1-6-liter-toilet-aqua-piston-keeps-running.html.
Now we're pleased as punch with our new toilet.

We replaced our old toilets on a rural septic system with these Kohler Cimarrons recommended by my friend who is a master plumber. The old toilets often would not flush completely and we were worried that it was a plumbing drainage or vent fault.
We didn't need to worry. These things flush like crazy! No more unwanted reruns! We also like the added height and seat comfort.
The only problem was with shipping. One toilet tank wasn't properly packed and arrived with a crack so we had to wait for a replacement.
Throw away your plunger. You won't need it.

I have been vey pleased with this toilet. In the one month since installing it I have not had a single clog. The old toilet would clog 2-3 times per week. Also really like the comfort height and the elongated bowl. The toilet is 1.6 gallons per flush but with this piston design you need to hold the flush lever to get it all 1.6 gallons. If you just do a quick flush and release it still gives you a good flush but you will not have quite as much water in the bowl for the next user. I also adjusted the float height so the tank would be as full as possible. Does a great job of rinsing the entire bowl with each flush. The toilet is fairly quiet and you think it can't possibly flush that much waste but I can testify that it has been thoroughly tested this past month and has not clogged up once!

We bought our first Cimarron Comfort Height 2-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet with class five technology in September 2013.
After several months without a problem, we decided to buy the same toilet for the other two bathrooms in our house.
Whenever before we had a large group of people (with a lot of children) spending time in our house, we used to run into the problem with the clogged toilets. Not anymore, where our new KOHLER Cimarron was installed.
It flushes perfectly and with much less water than our old toilet. Before we had to flush several times and many times we ended up with the clogged toilet. It was very unpleasant especially when we had a large group of people visiting. We needed something reliable. I searched Internet for the most reliable toilet and I was happy that I found this KOHLER Cimarron Comfort Height 2-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet. All those reviews praising this toilet were correct. The toilet performs very well, it has strong water pressure. It looks great, it is sleek and stylish of good size and height. It is also easy to clean. I clean it only with a toilet brush and the dishwashing detergent. It still looks like new. We bought all those three toilet seats on Internet and they were delivered from Home Depot Warehouse to our house for free.
