Poor plastic retainer strips easily under light use.
I'm on my third replacement part for the cheap plastic retainer that connects the heavy metal handle to the mechanism inside the bezel. We get about 9-12 months of very light use (1-2x per week) before the metal handle strips the plastic inside. I have never had a problem with showers on any of my properties, going decades without an issue. Contractors and plumbers have told me this is a poor design and other brands use more durable internal materials. Will not buy Kohler again.

Quick and easy install!!!
Very easy to install and built very well. My company installs 30-40 a month for the last year. The slip on tub spout makes it that much of a game changer takes the measuring and sweating a female adapter Out of the equation

Very solid valve. The install was fairly easy assuming you have some plumbing experience. If no plumbing experience, it might be a tad difficult. I used it as a 2 way valve rather than 3 way option. It works great.
