The faucet hole are listed as oversized, does a standard faucet work?

AnswerHi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. Yes, a standard faucet may be installed on this sink. The faucet drillings are oversized as this is an under-mount sink. The faucet will be mounted on the countertop, through the oversized holes. Great sink
We remodeled our kitchen a year ago through Home Depot and I had always wanted an apron sink, so this was our splurge of the remodel. I love this sink! It is big enough to hold a large cookie sheet or to soak a 12-inch skillet. Very spacious and durable. Looks beautiful too. The only 'con' about it is that because the front lip is not covered by counter top, sometimes it seems easier to have water spray out the front when I am hand washing dishes. I often lay down a dishtowel on the front to collect any spray so it doesn't drip down below onto the cabinets. But overall, I would recommend this sink and it's still one of my favorite things about my kitchen.

Well-made, cast-iron farm sink
This farm-style sink is nice, and well made. The first one arrived damaged, but it was quickly picked up and I got a discount on the replacement. I also bought it on a free-shipping deal, so it was a good price. It's VERY HEAVY though, 153 lbs., so plan on two men to lift it into place, which you'll probably have to do multiple times to get the hole cut just right.
I gave if 4 stars instead of 5 because it could be a little deeper, but I like the wide sink sink. No need for double-sinks in the age of automatic dishwashers.

Dickenson Sink
We purchased a Dickenson sink one month ago.
The sink was finished well, and looked as we had hoped.
The first problem is that the sink never came with a drain. We had to find a Kohler drain for it, not cheap.
With in 1 week the sink had started to crack, small hairline cracks that continued to grow.
We called Kohler and they offered a replacement. The problem is, we then had to pay for the cabinet maker to remove the counter top and install the replacement sink. Well we would have to if we ever received the letter authorizing us to get a replacement.
It now has been over one month and we have heard nothing from Kohler.
Would I buy this sink again, I like the sink, but the workmanship doesn't appear to be upto the level that price would suggest, and the support from Kohler has been poor to say the least.
