Q:Can the elmbrook kitchen faucet with pull down spray be mounted with the handle on the left? Does the cartridge have to be repositioned or changed for proper operation of the faucet? Do the Hot and Cold water connections have to be reversed to do this?

Love how it works well with my new Kohler double sink. It holds enough soap in the soap pump for my needs unlike other smaller ones. The spray mode is flat so less splashing when cleaning around sink!

Looks great, No flow of water.
It is not the first faucet (from Kohler) that I have installed. But that after connecting no water comes out of the tap happens to me for the first time.
I have no idea how much PSI the water pressure must be to overcome the two "reducers". 60 PSI was not enough.I ended up removing the two "reducers" and a small strainer to get a reasonable water flow at 60 PSI.
I would highly recommend Kohler to test their own products. For me, it was the last Kohler faucet I installed.

Water flow not even
My new faucet sputters on regular (nonspray) setting, as noted by other buyers. Plumber cleared both hot and cold lines, so overall flow isn't the problem. I tried soaking the spray surface in 50/50 vinegar/water and brushing w/soft brush as recommended by Kohler rep. Flow improved for maybe 2 or 3 uses, but now it's back to sputtering again, as in attached photos. I do NOT want to remove the entire faucet and hope that a new one will perform better. Am hoping Kohler will resolve this problem!

Leaky faucet head
Leaked out of the faucet head after owning it for only a couple weeks. Would be an otherwise fine faucet if it didn’t leak out of the sides and spray everywhere. Not worth it

We do recommend soaking/cleaning the spray face with a 50/50 solution of warm water and straight white vinegar, cleaning the nozzles with a soft cloth; this will remove any debris (even with new installations) that may be causing the flow issues. Looks great, spray head doesn't work
Looks great, worked fine for about 6 months (albeit poor water pressure because it's meant to save water apparently), then the spray head became a major pain. Water pressure became almost nonexistent if you're not holding the toggle on "spray" or "stream". Tried soaking spray nozzle in distilled vinegar to break down any hard water deposits, don't think that's the problem. A year after installing this, I'm buying something that's not Kohler. Would not recommend this product.

Read ALL instructions
This faucet is beautiful and a cinch to install. I’m an instruction reader (and a review reader)—instructions are important! One step that I think many of the 1-star reviewers miss is to flush both the hot and cold lines for 1 minute into a bucket before installing the faucet hose. Black pieces will come out into your bucket water and you won’t have them jamming up your hose. I have a respect for plummers but trust me when I say this… install this yourself if possible. It’s so easy!!
We recently remodeled our bathroom and installed Kohler faucets in those sinks as well. I trust the Kohler name and would be a rep for their products I love them that much!

I purchased the Kohler Elmbrook kitchen faucet, three week's ago.It was probably one of the easiest and quickest faucets I've ever installed. I'm really impressed with the quality and performance of this faucet. I had read that it has weak water pressure. We have to turn down the water to keep water from splashing outside the sink. I would purchase another Kohler product and highly recommend them to others. So far appears to be a great product.
