Do you need a wall stud to secure the door frame to, or will the porcelain tile and sheet rock be adequate? I have large format tiles, 5/16” thick.

How is the door with handle bar facing outside, open from inside the shower? Inversely, how is the door with handle bar facing inside, open from outside? Is there some sort of a knob?

There is a towel bar on the inside of one panel and on the outside of the other panel so you can enter or exit from either side. The other side of the panel has knobs where the handle bar connects that can be used to open the door if you are not wanting to open it with the door that has towel bar inside of the shower. Is it possible that wall jambs or header will need cutting? What is the header width?

During installation the header and threshold are the trimmable service parts. The wall jambs will not be cut. The width of the header is 2-1/8". Thank you for choosing Kohler.
