Featuring the elegant architectural look of the Memoirs collection with a classic design, this 2-piece toilet combines water-saving flush performance with traditional style. A high-efficiency 1.28 Gal. flush offers up to 16,500 Gal. of water savings per year, compared to a 3.5 Gal. toilet. Without compromising performance, the elongated bowl is positioned at a convenient height of about 2 in. higher than standard for comfort and ease of use.

There is not a difference between toilets that are purchased at Home Depot versus a showroom other than the seat that may be packaged with a Complete Solution toilet. The difference between K-3986-0 and K-3986-U-0 is that the U version has an insulated tank. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

Huge upgrade for the money

Very high quality, fit and finish in this lower priced toilet. It has a timeless but brand new look and it transformed our bathroom. We were looking for an "old timey" toilet with modern internals and this is it. Great looks, powerful flush, uses less water than our old one too. Now to replace the sink!

Very Pleased

Very pleased, we purchased to match the pedestal sink. The toilet stands a little taller than our standard unit and is more comfortable to use in a sitting position. It has a duel flush system; one for liquids and one for solids which is very efficient and save water. The tank refills quickly and surprisingly is very quite. The unit is very solid and is stylish for our power room. We are very pleased with this purchase

Nice toilet

I wanted a round toilet in my mudroom since I needed easy access to an open closet I am building that sits next to this toilet. I save about 3" in length with the round opposed to an elongated and I think it will make a difference. The toilet is attractive and flushes well. One quick flush for liquids and small solids. Hold down the handle a second or two longer for bigger solids....sorry if this grosses anyone out. The reason I gave 4 stars for quality is that the front of my base comes to a small point where the two sides of the porcelain bowl were fused together. Almost looks like second quality. I didn't have time to reorder so I installed the toilet anyway. Still disappointed that the base has a small "nose" in the front. Easy install and very pretty toilet. I have the elongated Memoirs with the "stately" tank lid in my powder room.
