This is the 3rd memoirs toilet that we have purchased. They are very pretty (I can’t believe I feel this way about my toilets) and have been easy to keep clean. My installer had no complaints with the installation. Our first one was installed 4 years ago, and it is still perfect.

Toilet shipped in two boxes. Tank flush and fill valves were preinstalled. Installation was quick. Installed wax ring and made sure flange bolts were tight. Put toilet on flange and hand tightened. Put tank on toilet and tightened bolts evenly making sure tank was level. Flushed a couple times and adjusted water fill level. Put lid on and was done. Install was easy. Looks great and is comfortable.

I had this toilet installed 3 years ago. I love the toilet ....
However..... I have one issue .
The water level in the bowl is very low.
The water doesn’t reach the sides of the bowl at all.
Is there a way to allow more water in the bowl ?
I’m not sure if this is how it suppose to be or if my installer didn’t set it correctly.

The toilet is excellent in flushing solid waste. The internal water valve has a two stage option, if held down for a second or two a second stage flush is initiated. The second stage, however, is seldom required since the first stage is usually sufficient. The increased height and elongated bowl are also appreciated.

This is a replacement of the Kohler Memoir that was installed 14 years ago. The difference is this one is the comfort height model. Highly satisfied as this is a well made toilet. Gave it a 4 vs a 5 because at this price point come on Kohler...include a wax ring and toilet seat! The toilets you are currently selling that cost less than half of what this one does include those 2 things. Thanks for the consideration

This is a good quality toilet with a strong flush. The comfort height seat is a nice change from the "standard" toilet that it replaced. ... The only thing I changed was that I used an Fluidmaster Extra Thick Reinforced Wax Toilet Bowl Gasket instead of what came in the box.

I don't feel the quality any is better than the average toilet, so it seems the high price is solely for the better style. I am happy with the power of the flush and the water level in the bowl is much better than high efficiency toilets. It also seems to be a little quieter filling the tank than my other toilet. It was very easy to install, same as any standard toilet. If you are willing to pay extra for style, I recommend buying this toilet. I also recommend buying the Kohler plastic slow closing toilet seat with it.

We purchased this toilet via special order. There is a flaw in the tank lid. We ordered this in white. There is a black fleck in the finish on the tank lid which is very noticeable. I have been trying to get Kohler on the phone since discovering this flaw several days ago. All we want is a replacement lid. Apparently they don't answer their phones and simply direct you to their website. I filled out the form on their website and am now to wait, supposedly, 1 - 3 business days to get a response. Had I known this was the level of customer service Kohler has sunk to, I would have ordered a different brand. We have no toilet in that bathroom because this special-order toilet was not made correctly, and I cannot get Kohler's attention in this matter. Buyer beware.

It's got an old world look. That's what I was looking for. I used an old oil rubbed bronze flush lever. It's just perfect. Also a wooden seat. My family loves it bc it's so tall. I am 6 ft. tall woman, and it's perfect. It flushes perfectly. We have never had to flush twice. I give it a ten out of 10. The only problem I had with the order was it took 3 times before one came in unbroken. Always get delivered to the store and ALWAYS check it before checkout. The 3rd toilet was only cracked at the flush lever. It was difficult to see, and I had already brought it home. Frustrating...but worth the wait. The customer service desk employees were awesome.

I love my Kohler Memoirs Classic Comfort Height 1.6 GPF elongated toilet. I have had it for a year now and was unsure when i bought it if i would like the extra height since i am a small woman, but i am in love with the whole toilet; the height makes it easy on the body to do your business. With the elongated design; my boys don't leave urine on the bowl rim anymore. I like how they have the holes going around the whole inside rim, with the AquaPiston technology, it really flushes good and hard leaving no inside debris on 1 flush.
The style of the toilet is really upscale and elegant. I have it in white.
I am in the process of remodeling my upstairs bathroom and only wish Kohler had this in ;
ice grey 95, as my tea for two tub and sink are ice grey.
I paired the toilet with Kohler ; Glenbury Elongated Closed front toilet seat in White- best toilet seat on the market! Thank you Kohler for another great product.
