    We have a Kohler Memoirs sink that is about 6 years old. It has deveoped spider web cracks all over the sides and is very unsightly. Kohler explained that the sink has a 1 year warranty. I would buy a different brand of sink if you want something to last. I would not recommend buying this sink and I myself will not buy a Kohler product again.

    Hi Sal, my name is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear your Memoirs sink has spider cracks (or crazing) all over the sides. Crazing is caused by tensile stresses greater than the glaze is able to withstand. A craze pattern can develop at any time in the lavatory’s life. Causes that are most often related to the development of crazing include: size of the piece, temperature changes, humidity changes, vibration (as in moving the piece often), and the age of the piece.
    Crazing occurs in the manufacture of vitreous china products regardless of manufacturer. Very specific efforts have been made to reduce the frequency of crazing occurrence.     Very nice product from Kohler. Well made and easy to install. I ordered this on-line and had it shipped to my home. I was a little concerned that the sink might arrive broken or damaged since it was a china sink. It came in a couple of days and was in perfect condition. No visible damage to the box and the packaging cushioned the sink nicely.

    Yes, I would recommend this product to family and friends. I had one that need to be returned, as it was too high. The gentleman in the kitchen dept. was so helpful in getting the right measurements I needed. I love the shape and the faucet that I also bought with the sink. This is my second one I purchased at Home Depot. Thank you for your products, and thank you for your service.

    Beautiful sink
    I just had a new vanity counter installed today along with this sink and a new faucet. The detail on this sink is beautiful. It replaced an old sink/countertop combo from the 1980's. The plumber said it was heavy and well-made. The installation must have been easy because he had the sink and faucet installed in about 30 minutes.

    I purchased 2 Kohler Memoirs Sinks over 1 year ago & installed Kholer faucets in both. Home improvement is an investment & kohler is worth the extra penny. Both sinks/faucets are used everyday & do not show signs of abuse. I use a gentle cleaner. The installation was easy also. We ordered a solid surface countertop with a custom cutout. Both sinks dropped in perfectly & the kohler faucets were simple to install. The sink is durable, high quality & beautiful. It is a modern classic - not too modern, not old fashioned. Simply perfect!

    Beautiful Contemporary Sink
    I installed this sink in a bathroom remodel and it is drop dead gorgeous. The sink drains well and I especially like the wide flange that allows space for a water glass and soap dish. The wide flange also gives a lot of "wiggle room" for installation. We cut the hole smaller than the template, though, to retain as much granite support as possible. You really don't need that large a hole.
