Impossible to clean
I have 4 of these in my house. All 4 have a dark ring inside the bowl at the water line. I’ve tried every cleaning hack. Do not buy these. They cost too much to throw in the dumpster or I would.

California low-flow works amazingly well!
I was worried about the performance because my version only used 1.28 GPF. I am supremely impressed at how figured out how to get the toilet to do its job with so little water.

Functionality
The toilet performs as described and the vintage look goes so well with our decor and is economical with water. Would give 5 stars except the seat is VERY uncomfortable for those of us with small derrières. I replaced it immediately. Now, all is good.

This toilet is GORGEOUS! The tiered base and tank match the look of our baseboard and the biscuit color. Sure you can get others, but they are plain and boring. This looks like furniture, not simply a toilet. I would like to see Home Depot carry this beautiful design all the time...even though it is sometimes difficult to get in stock. I'm telling you...it's not just a toilet, it enhances the design of your bathroom to a whole 'nother level! Cheers to Kohler. They seem to always wow us, with their creations.

Love It!
We love the color, the style and the seat height of this toilet. I've never paid this much for a toilet and I may just be a convert to paying a bit more for better quallity!

Dirty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these memoirs toilets one we did our bathroom renovations I am so terminally unhappy with them. If they weren't so expensive I would replace both of them. They are difficult to clean due to the bowl design inside . They always look stained and disgusting .
They do not hold enough water to flush away debris.

Hi, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm very sorry to hear the water level in the bowl appears to be low. I'm happy to share a few adjustment suggestions to ensure your toilet tank is able to provide adequate cleaning power. The chain connecting to the trip lever should be taut. If there is any slack, it should be tightened to remove the slack. The tank and bowl water level can also be checked. The water level in the tank should be at the water line which is marked on the inside back wall of the tank or on the flush valve. If the water level is too low, it can be increased by turning the threaded rod on the fill valve; flushing each time to monitor the new level and continue doing this until it has reached the water line. The bowl water level should be 6-1/8" down from the rim of the bowl (no seat) to the water. The surface area should measure 11-3/4" x 9-1/2" (298 mm x 241 mm). If the bowl water level is low (which it appears to be from the photos), please check the refill tube inside the tank. It should be connected at both ends connecting the fill valve to the center of the canister valve. If either end is disconnected, it should be pushed back into place.
