I have a condo that has a toilet but know very little about plumbing and wanted to know if I needed one if I'd be putting the toilet in the same spot. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Runs constantly after 8 years. Do not buy it. We bought this toilet when we remodeled our bathroom 8 years ago. 1. Wastes water We replaced the flapper valve with a dual flush a couple of years ago. It's been running constantly and wasting water. Replacing the flapper valve with a standard one has not fixed the problem. 2. Ring It required an extra high wax ring to fit the opening that was fine for the previous toilet. 3. It clogs OMG does this thing clog easily. Look at it cross-eyed, it clogs. Have a little extra fiber, it clogs. Potty-train, it clogs. If you have teenaged boys, you'd better invest in a high quality plumber's friend & a good mop because you're going to be cleaning up sewage. 4. Stains It's so hard to keep clean! Bleach tablets, scrubbing, and regular cleanings don't help. We're going to pull it out this weekend and replace it with something that will actually hold up and last. This thing has cost us so much in wasted water, replacement parts, and time spent cleaning it. But hey, it's attractive.

I needed to buy the round bowl version of this vintage styled, modern toilet and did I ever pay for the position I was in. First the toilet was a full $100 more than the elongated version of the same model and second I got NOTHING with it. I was told there would be everything but the supply line (which is impossible to predict). What I got was: No toilet seat, no wax ring, not even the T bolts and a couple of other incidentals. Also, there is no recommendation for the right toilet seat to go with it and I made a poor (Kohler) choice. This is a Very round bowl toilet and yet the seats are skimpy in width and half the bumpers are touching nothing on the inside. Trust me it is a Rotten deal in the long run though the toilet itself seems to work well and it does have nice styling. But to be stuck fully $50 plus the original $100 leaves a bad taste in my pocketbook. This is All HD doing. They are the ones that put the packages together. Not a Happy Deal from HD.

Initially, I thought is was a beautiful toilet, much better looking than those offered in stores. But things went downhill quickly from there once I received it. First, I ordered it in biscuit because I didn't want the stark white look with the tile in my bathroom, but when I received the toilet, it looked white...was definitely not worth the substantial cost difference for the colors to look so similar. Secondly, my husband could not get it installed and we finally had to get a plumber out to do so adding even more to the cost of the toilet. Lastly, as far as operation goes, the toilet claims to release water from all sides (360 degrees). However, it is such a miniscule amount of water that it doesn't clean the bowl... sometimes even after 3 flushes!! The water savings is negated by its inability to properly clean the bowl and having to flush numerous times or either getting a brush out to clean it after use. Would not purchase this if I had it to do over again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Toilet I have only been using my new toilet for about 3 weeks, but I will review it anyway. My contractor had no problem installing my vintage looking comfort height toilet. I love the fact that it only uses a little over 1 gallon of water to flush using the new aqua piston flushing system. I thought it might clog easily, but that is definitely not the case. After installation I noticed a very small flaw on the front edge of the tank cover. I called Kohler and explained the issue with their customer service representative, who promptly said that a new cover would be sent to me, which they did. Kohler products are top of the line and the company stands behind their product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Toilet is too high If you ar 5' 4" or shorter this is not the toilet for you, your feet won't touch the ground. Very loud when tank is refilling, but it does not take long to fill. Overall a great looking toilet and otherwise a good purchase.
