Q:Good Afternoon, we purchased a Rubicon 36 in. Bath Vanity. We are wanting to replace the countertop with quartz. We are afraid that in the demo process, the sink may crack or break. Can you tell us if we can purchase a new sink?

Q:Are you able to recommend a backsplash that is compatiable with the Rubicon model #R-81119-ASB-0? I understand Kohler doesn't make a backsplash for this vanity but saw another inquiry where you could recommend one that would work. Please advise.

Sink has two cracks less than three months in
I love the look of this vanity and have been pleased with it during the 3 months we’ve had it in place until this week. I was wiping out the sink 2 days ago when I noticed a fine spider crack in the surface of the sink. When I looked closer I saw that there was another one right near it. This vanity is in our master bath so no kids banging around on it. We haven’t dropped anything in the sink. So disappointed that this has happened.

I installed this 1 yr ago. Cheap mdf swollen..paint cracked everywhere. Counter top stained. Paint stained and destroyed from toothpaste of all things. I bought 2 more of these for my other bathrooms and haven't installed them.. but definitely going to return them. Poor craftsmanship. Poor quality. Garbage

Major defect in the vanity top: leaks - cost $1078
Defect in the vanity top: leaks from underneath where the overflow channel joins to the drain hole. Replaced twice, going to try to replace it with a third top, just because my wife coordinated the bathroom remodel for all devices and the new floor. Disappointed in Kholer. Pics attached. This is the only item delaying the remodel. Might have to refund and shop for a different vanity...ugh!!!

Glaze is cracked and flaking after 1 year
The glaze is failing were the finishing nails attach the top piece of the molding of the doors. Because the finishing nails on the product were not pushed below the wood, the glaze cracks were the metal is at and flakes off.
Purchase the product in March of 2021, it was installed in June, now Home Depot nor Kohler will do anything about it in September of 2022.
Buy something else, poor marksmanship with the Kohler name thrown on it.

Like some design features. Don't like others
I love the vanity countertop and sink. I don’t love the way it fits on the bottom of the vanity at the corners. I do like the design of the front of the vanity. Seems like the draws could have extended back further giving more drawer space. Also like the handles.

Vanity top color much darker and vanity depth is only 18
I wanted to buy this without seeing in person because I trust the brand. However as other reviewers said, the vanity top color is much deeper than picture. It is not white base color it is Greyish base color. And the specification never mentioned the depth of this vanity so I assumed it to be the standard size of 21in depth. However it is only 18in! Now it is not matching our other vanity in the bathroom which is standard 21 inch depth.

Poor quality
The material construction of the cabinet is high quality however the people who assemble them are clearly pressed for quantity and not quality. The seams are not tight and even. The paint is spotty and has gaps. You can see they installed the handles prior to the paint drying and causing it to chip off when removed.(they install the handles in reverse for packaging) for $700 I could of had a custom cabinet built but did not have time so I looked for something of good quality. The price was not appropriate for final product. Hopefully the photos are high enough resolution to see defects.

great look and fit for our space
love the look of this vanity and fit our space perfect. four stars because we did have an issue with the plastic clip not allowing drawer to close, no issue since resetting the clip . hoping not to have paint issues as mentioned in some of the reviews.
