You may notice the disposal is slightly louder than with the cast iron sink. Thank you for your inquiry. Sorry to say that we use neither satin nor chrome to describe the stainless finish, so that makes your question difficult to answer. I do see the Home Depot specificaton information refers to it as "Satin," so it is apparently closer to satin than chrome.
