Q:I installed one of your Clicker Drains about a year ago. I like it. It has started backing up water... draining slowly. I'm guessing it is plugged, probably with hair. How do I take the Clicker out for cleaning?

Black chips quickly
The black stopper chips almost instantly. Have to replace after 1 years of minimal use in a guest bathroom. Do not recommend buying this at all.

Odd spot for a brand logo
Units looked sturdy and were accuratly described, but i ended up returning then because of the brand logo plastered on the top of the pop top. Once dry fit into place, it was way too obvious and distracting

Cheap Garbage parts
I just broke 2 of these in a row trying to install them. If you don't tighten them enough, they leak, if you over tighten them, the plastic breaks; it's either one or the other, you will never get it perfect. Think plumbers putty, silicone, or plumbers tape will help? Nope, it wont. Don't waste your money on this garbage. Buy a real metal drain.

Great concept.
This concept is awesome, simplicity and functionality, it was one of the easiest drains I've ever installed. Eliminates the hassle of dismantling the entire drain for cleaning, and reduces the likelihood of the drain being clogged.

Very cheap plastic cracked upon hand tightening
I'm not one to write reviews, especially not immediately but I am shocked at what I just experienced. I was under the sink tightening the nut BY HAND per the instructions and became curious why it was taking so many turns. I get up above the sink and see the plastic flange CRACKED (see photo).
I repeat: I'm a woman with mediocre hand strength who cracked the cheap plastic flange by hand tightening the nut!
I'm floored Kohler and Home Depot make and sell such poorly made junk. Wow.

Brand new & it’s stuck
I don’t want to trash this product in case the problem is an installation error, but I’m frustrated. It was installed 2 days ago, and it’s now stuck in the down position, preventing water from draining.
I read to turn the drain cap counter-clockwise if stuck, but I’m not able to grip it enough to turn it at all. Maybe I could try using a tool to grip it, but I don’t want to damage it.
Even if I manage to fix this, why am I having a problem with it so soon?

Matte black chips off in 1 month
Do not buy the matte black!!!
Had this in my recently remodeled bathroom for 1 month and this is how bad it looks. Expected more from Kohler brand.
