One year Sink Review
We purchased this sink while remodeling our kitchen a year ago. The sink has performed very well and still looks new. We did add the bottom grids which help eliminate minor abrasions from pots, pans, and metal utensils etc. The do wipe the sides of the sink with a paper towel to eliminate water spots. Great product that we highly recommend.

Poor quality
I am disappointed in this sink. It is not scratch resistant. We have had it less than a few months and there are already large scratches. I bought it because all the reviews said if you use bar keepers friend it removes the tiny scratches but even that’s not true. My old sink was better than this and looked better than this and it was probably 50 years old. Obviously they know you won’t want to change your sink after it’s been installed so they don’t really care about their product.

Scratches are inevitable in any sink material, including stainless steel. These are merely usage scratches. Overtime, these scratches will become uniform with the sink's grain and blend into the overall finish of your sink with proper cleaning. Most minor scratches can be softened and belnded into the steel with a fine (white) 3M Scotch Brite pad, or 3M Scotch Brite Natural Fiber Non-Scratch Scour Pad, accompanied by a deep cleansing agent such as Bar Keepers Friend.

EXCELLENT Sink and Faucet!
One of the best purchases we made during our first (and hopefully only) home renovation. Everything was redone in the olive green kitchen. And this huge sink with a KPF- 1602 faucet was my pick. We bandied about all the other choices a few hundred times but there was only one choice for my kitchen.

Beautiful Sink, Great working space
I guess i would call myself a loyal Kraus customer by now. i bought their geo-axis faucet in my last home and when i did a kitchen renovation in my current home, i went straight to their products. i bought the same faucet but this time, i was limited on the sink size and it had to be a drop in. still, out of all the competitors products, kraus offered the nicest, most sleek looking product, nice & deep, 16 gauge, all that at a great price. everything i wanted. i did, unfortunately, have a problem with the draining of the water initially. step in, Michael R. i think he is the manager or supervisor of kraus but i call him My Customer Service Superstar. this man will stop at nothing to make sure the customer is happy. He checked the batch # for any production issues, had me check that the sink and counter was level all around, verified that my plumber installed disposal and p-trap properly. His 1st suggestion, was to use barkeepers friend and that really really helped alot. he even sent me a bottle of their liquid product to see if i would get any better results. i actually found the powder version of barkeepers friend worked the best. Now, i am comfortable with the water draining and using the sink is a joy. I am all about customer service and i can tell you that you not find another company that will give you the customer service that i have gotten from Kraus.

Easy to Clean

The New Center of Attraction in the Kitchen
Aside from the gorgeous looks, the rounded corners are easy to clean. The quality of the finish is fantastic in that it matches the rest of my stainless steel appliances. The middle divider's height is perfect for filling up half of the sink to clean dishes yet thin enough to look interesting. It definitely is a conversation starter. Future models should have three or even four holes too.

Absolutely Love this INCREDIBLE Sink
We just installed Quartz Countertops in our kitchen, and replaced a 2 bowl, standard, shallow stainless steel sink with our new KRAUS Single Bowl 32” Undermount Stainless Steel Sink. We couldn’t be more pleased. It’s beautiful. It’s spacious. It drains well. We love the stainless steel grid. The 16 gauge stainless and soundproofing is excellent-so much more quiet that our previous sink. The look and quality of the drain and strainer, which also received many other approving comments in the reviews, is so nice we decided to use that instead of our garbage disposal, and that has worked out very well so far. Garbage disposal aren’t good for your pipes anyway, and frankly the strainer works perfectly fine. My only caution is to make sure you do not use any abrasive sponges on the sink. We have both abrasive and non-abrasive, and I mistakenly started using the wrong one. Thankfully just a few minor scratches in and area difficult to see, and I caught myself. Follow the instructions that come with the sink-use a soft cloth or sponge-and all will be fine. Thank you Kraus for an amazing and beautiful sink.

Just Installed Today--This 50-Year-Old Kitchen Is Changing!
This sink looks SO nice in my 1971 kitchen. It's large, sturdy, and is extremely nice to look at. We live in a rural area (but not necessarily a poor area), and our plumber said he believes we are the only house in the county that has a 16-gauge sink in the kitchen. Looking forward to many years of service from this really nice sink.

Sink rusting after 1 week!
This sink IS gorgeous, but we have a brand new home, they installed the sink last week and there’s already rust spots at the bottom beneath the grate. I’m having to completely dry down the sink after washing dishes to prevent it from rusting more. The sink at our old house was 15 years old and never had this issue. I’m really concerned how long this sink would last. The care manual says no sitting water, but it’s just not normal to completely dry down a sink after every use to prevent rust within a week. Maybe we got a defective one, but if we can’t get a replacement and not have this happen again, we will not be buying or recommending Kraus again. Really disappointing for such a beautiful sink.

Typically, when red spots appear on a Stainless Steel Sink like ours it is simply surface discoloration. This is usually taken care of permanently with a stainless steel polish and/or cleaner when used according to the directions of the cleaning product. Products such as Bar Keeper’s friend and a fine 3M Scotch Brite pad are both great options.
