Q:I have a double sink and wants a single sink installed. My total dimension from the inside wall is 30 1/4? x 16? and it would be an Undermount. What size sink should I order and I know that a 16 gauge is good but do you have any 18 gauge available?

Awful
Before buying this sink I read all of the reviews. I decided to trust all the positive ones since I thought the negative ones were just people who were hard to please! Boy was I wrong! This sink is poor quality! I had other sink in my old house that I bought from my granite company that was so much better. This sink Even after cleaning it with the right products and buffing it with dry towels you still see the water marks. And the scratches was me using a scotch sponge to clean it. Seriously?

The stains/spots you are noticing are not part of the stainless steel; they are deposits on the surface of the sink and can be removed with cleaners containing oxalic acid. Unless pure distilled water flows from your faucet, there will be dissolved minerals and salts in your rinse water. With proper cleaning and care you can remove what you are seeing.
Also, Scratches are inevitable in any sink material, including stainless steel. These are merely usage scratches. Overtime, these scratches will become uniform with the sink's grain and blend into the overall finish of your sink with proper cleaning. Most minor scratches can be softened with a fine (white) 3M Scotch Brite pad, or 3M Scotch Brite Natural Fiber Non-Scratch Scour Pad, accompanied by a deep cleansing agent such as Bar Keepers Friend.
The surface scratches which appear on stainless steel sinks rarely have any appreciable depth and will become less noticeable with age. Your sink will look better a year after installation than during the first few months of use due to the fact that the scratching will have evened out. All sinks manufactured in stainless steel perform in exactly the same way.

Kraus 60/40 16guage SS double bowl
Simply beautiful. No negatives so far. Installed now for 2 weeks and used daily in a busy household. No scratches but time will tell. Returned the low divide design as I could see some potential for rust around the divide area from welding imperfections. Went with the full divide and so glad I did.

Poor Quality Sink
Just had a kitchen remodel completed. Thought Kraus sinks were quality products. Sink scratches easily and is of poor quality. Save your money and I recommend not to but this product.

Looks great and works great!
We are very happy with this single bowl sink. We used to have a double bowl sink but we like this single bowl much better because it provides a lot of space to wash dishes. As some people mentioned in their reviews, we noticed red spots in the beginning and were worried if they were rust marks, but after cleaning it with a stainless steel polish, we were able to clean them off. We highly recommend this item.

Nice quality but a little disappointed
This sink is very good quality. Our only concern is for some reason the water tends to pool near the drain but doesn't flow in. I would think all water would go down the drain like most sinks do.

One year Sink Review
We purchased this sink while remodeling our kitchen a year ago. The sink has performed very well and still looks new. We did add the bottom grids which help eliminate minor abrasions from pots, pans, and metal utensils etc. The do wipe the sides of the sink with a paper towel to eliminate water spots. Great product that we highly recommend.

Disappointed
I wanted to love this sink but within the first days of use there are already scratches everywhere & the water doesn’t drain well. It just sits there. The design seems flawed. Too bad because it’s a beautiful sink but i would not buy it again or recommend it. It’s been installed so I can’t return now:(

Handle broken after a year
I was happy at first because of the value for money, but the handle came off and its quite impossible to to even glue it back. The join design is poor, it was always supposed to come off.
I feel lucky it lasted a year with this design!!!!
