Its everything we hoped for in a portable food storage unit for a remote location. As long as you have a source of AC or DC power, you will be set. And we bought the smallest unit of three.
The controls and instructions are easy to understand. It cools down fast and stays cold at what ever temperature you set; zero degrees for a freezer or 40 degrees for a refrigerator, but not both.
If it wasn't what somebody expected then they didn't read the write up. Everything the Home Depot write up described about this AC/DC refrigerator/freezer capabilities came true.
