24 in. Built-in Single Zone Beverage Refrigerator with 170 Can 12 oz. Beverage

I purchased this unit 1 year ago and while it cools and holds a consistant temp, my unit does not reach the temp set on the thermostat. If the thermostat is set at 40, it cools to 44. If if move it down to 38 (the lowest it will go) I get to 42. Normally I'd like to keep my beer at 38/40 degrees and for unit at this price point do not find that unreasonable. I registered my unit and submitted an email to for warranty, no other method was provided. But I was informed this was normal operation

I absolutely love it now i have tons of storage on my big fridge

The Kalamera 24in Built-in Single Zone Beverage Refrigerator is a nice, stylish, beverage refrigerator for kitchen, bar, or garage. Measuring in at 23" wide by 33" high by 22" deep, it's a great size to keep under a countertop or on top of it. It boasts a capacity for 170 12 oz cans, though if fully loaded I'm not sure air flow would be optimal. This refrigerator is a very stylish black with chrome silver accents. The entire body is black and the door and air vent are chrome. The door also has a full-length clear glass window to see inside. Setup was a breeze. Place the refrigerator where you want it and let it sit for 24 hours. This lets the coolant settle from shipping and moving so your unit doesn't blow. After the first 24 hours, plug the refrigerator in and set your desired temperature. With it empty, close the door and let the refrigerator sit for another 24 hours to calibrate and bring the inside to temperature. After that, you're all set and ready to load up with tasty beverages. The refrigerator hold temperature very well while loaded. My only negative is to make sure your door is completely closed before walking away. I've had a few times where i've pushed the door closed and walked away, just to come back later to find that the door bounced back open slightly. Another feature is the blue LED light. If fully loaded, the light will only light up the top shelf and maybe the second shelf, but if you allow for some space between cans, the light will illuminate most of the inside. Not a necessary feature, but a nice little addition. Perhaps my favorite feature is the fact that the shelving slides out part way to allow for easy loading. Most shelves have the cans laying down flat, and being able to pull the shelf part way out lets you load easily, as well as pull out to get to the cans at the back.

The stainless-steel trim clear glass door is reversible and opens left or right with simple easy to follow instructions. Mine came with eh handle on the left. The box contains the brackets and within five minutes you can change the door, so the handle is on the right as the photos show. You will have to remove the logo and reset on the glass if you wish. A hair dryer works great for removing or loosening the adhesive. Since the refrigerator has digital thermostat it has a memory lost function if there is a power outage it will restore the previous set temperature when the power comes back on. Great is using for a wine collection. The bottom wire rack is removable as the photos show for storing bottles in the bottom. The bottom of the refrigerator is molded to hold bottles in position without rolling. Temperatures range settings is from 38 to 50 degrees. With the refrigerator setting at 38 Degrees and over 70 hours later a handheld digital thermometer I was only able to register the lowest temperature at 46 degrees after the refrigerator was unopened for over 28 hours. Remember is you get one of these refrigerators, before plugging in you should let the unit stand upright for 24 hours prior to starting to make sure the oils and freon are in the compressor. The instructions suggest that you leave the refrigerator empty for the next 24 hours and load with your beverages after that. If you are putting in a cabinet or under counter, please make sure there is adequate ventilation space around the top and sides. This will help dissipate the heat form the compressor, which is a major reason why these undercounter models have a shortened life. The Kalamera beverage refrigerator has a Black interior, and a switch that controls a blue LED light. Extended warranties should strongly be considered when purchasing a under cabinet refrigerators to protect your investment.

I just recently had this refrigerator installed about a week ago. So far it’s been a great asset to my kitchen. My one concern is the instruction booklet isn’t very clear on adjusting the temperature. I was able to make some adjustment but I was just feeling my way around. I’m hoping that this refrigerator will keep all my beverages cold and continue to work well for a number of years!

It does not get anywhere near the level of cold it states on the display. Even at the coldest setting, it wasn’t cutting it for me. The door also doesn’t stay shut very well.

Within 2 days of installing this built-in beverage cooler, the unit stopped cooling. I have reached out to Kalamera both via email and call center. They have been slow in responding and repeatedly asked me to troubleshoot the root cause of the problem. Identifying the root cause of the problem is fine for a Service Technician but I am not qualified, nor do I want to, replace a compressor or other component within the cooler. I paid a premium for this unit, had it professionally installed with the expectation it would function properly and it has not. My husband and I will be removing it this weekend and returning it to Home Depot.

Instructions on setup were good. I did get nervous when pulling back the inner door liner to feed the handle screws in, as I wasn’t sure the liner would pop back in place; but it did with no problem. Temperature is true; as cool or cold as you need your beverage to be. The light only illuminates the top front, but it’s enough to get an idea of inventory without opening the door.

Had continual condensation on glass front. We were wiping water off the floor four times a day. We got frustrated with it and returned it.
