I love how this is an all-in-one tool; well everything but a drywall prop of course (though now as I think of it the side of the tool is sort of angled so perhaps you could carefully slide it against the floor and use it as a prop). It is built pretty hefty after all. The saw blade really comes in use for making small cut-outs. It's good not to have to switch tools between cutting and sanding the edge. -It even has a tape holder! Sure, there is no pocket clip but you really don't need one with the compact size of the thing. I was cutting through a piece of thick foam with the blade fully out and angled it a bit and the entire length of blade snapped, leaving me with only two sharp portions. My fault of course, but I don't see any available replacement blades, so since mine broke this isn't nearly as useful anymore; hopefully I can find some regular utility blades or something else that will work in there. An AMAZING value, if you can find blades for it of course. You do get an extra saw-blade though, which is nice.

Handy effective well designed tool for drywall and plaster repair. Reduces tools needed. Was perfect for a quick repair of doorknob hole in drywall. Knife cut drywall round shape well, saw removed drywall from paper quickly, also easily cut and angled plaster forming hole for repair. Small saw blade performed perfect, effective in removing loose plaster pieces and sawing lath to allow drywall patch a precise fit minimizing compound. Tool also performed well repairing damaged drywall at edge of tub. Knife made clean cuts, saw allowed detection and removal of soft wet drywall ensuring lasting repair. Time saved in just first two small repairs proved tools value. Side plane smoothed joint compound repair to plaster damaged replacing door trim. Plane quickly removes joint compound and drywall to enlarge or shape holes. Overall satisfied with tools performance for smaller drywall-plaster repairs which seems the design intent. Tool was manageable with bare hand for smaller jobs. Side plane did feel rough with some grips as tools was rotated and used for sawing lath, but tools smaller size, even in tough plaster, was effective. Recommend for durability, small size for tight and or small space work. Like thin small sharp saw blade for cutting ease, reaching in and poking around to test plaster drywall condition. Didn't show any sign of dulling after several plaster repairs and numerous drywall repairs and test probing. This tool has already become part of drywall repair tools taken to nearly every DIY job. Great handy multi -purpose effective tool.

The drywall cutting knife is pretty useful tool to have because of it's multiple functions but I can't help but question it's longevity, durability and strength. For small jobs it should work great. The knife is very thin, more like a craft knife than a utility knife. It is sharp enough but I don't think it will be durable enough for roughly cutting sheet after sheet of drywall. The scraper is problematic for me. It scrapes your hands when you use it. You basically have to wear gloves to use this tool which I don't always want to do. The sarated drywall blade is thin so it gives a nice clean cut but again, durability is my question mark.

Slick set of tools all in one, perfect for drywall. This provides a nicely designed set of tools all in one. It has the extendable snap-off blade in a standard size, a grater like drywall plane, a tape measure dock, and a toothed drywall saw that folds out. It also includes a spare blade for the drywall saw. The tape dock is a neat metal pocket up against the blade that allows a steel tape measure to be hooked onto the knife so that the zero point of the tape measure is against the blade. This lets one make a cut at a specific measurement easily. The 3" drywall saw has has a low profile blade that allows one to make curved cuts too! To change the main blade, pull the back of the knife off backwards and slide the old blade out the back. Insert a new one and replace the plastic stop. No tools needed. Made in China

This is a good idea in theory because it has a rasp, cutting saw and a knife but the quality isn't there. The rasp works fine but the knife is not sturdy and does stay shape for more than 1 cut.The saw works good but it is a bit weak itself, it seems to be sharp and cuts good but I fear it won't last long. The concept of this tool is great for a drywall guy like me but the quality could be better.

I was pleasantly surprised that I like this tool. I used it to repair ceilings in my sister's townhouse. I have never been a fan of the breakoff knives but this one was solid and sharp. It cut through thick mudded tape with no problem. I used the rasp to smooth out rough spots around nail holes and the cuts I made in the ceiling. I needed to cut a hole in a ceiling that had stains from a roof leak to check for mold and the little saw did the job without bending or breaking. It comes with a replacement saw blade. I did not get a chance to use the rest for a measuring tape but it seems very practical.

The Kapro Multi-Purpose Drywall Cutting Knife isn't all that. It is multi function tool, which is a good thing usually, depending on the design and purpose of the tool. Unfortunately this one falls short of the mark for which it was intended. 1, that the saw blade is very thin which maybe acceptable for detail trimming around outlets, but it lacks the strength and is too flimsy for making plunge cuts on a consistent basis. 2, the second blade can't be contained within its own case and will surely get lost. 3, the rasp will very quickly chew up your hand unless you wear protective gloves. 4, the thumb slide for the cutting blade is not designed for heavy use and would not last long. It doesn't have the longevity or beastliness of a professional tool, which makes it pretty pricey, by comparison. It is in our tool box, but probably will only get used for some detail work, not as a primary tool.

Very handy tool in my opinion. Nice and compact. Three tools in one. I really like the saw blade. Allows me more precision over my large drywall saw tool. Utiltiy blade is nice and sharp and does a good job scoring the drywall for cutting. Just sanp off blade on front when it gets dull. Haven't used the deburring tool yet, but seems a nice tool to tqake away rough edges.

I am a huge fan of multi-use tools, and this drywall knife hits the mark. It's great to have just about everything I need to work on drywall with just one tool. It can make straight cuts, small and curved cuts, smooth rough edges, and you can attach the end of a measuring tape to it, for more efficient measuring/cutting. It's a solid tool, and all the parts operate easily. The one thing I would point out is that you have watch how you hold the knife to avoid scratching your hand on the rasp/scraper part of the tool. Gloves will protect your skin, but the glove itself can still get caught on the rasp. The knife also comes with an additional serrated cutting blade, which is a nice plus. This is exactly what I was looking for in a drywall knife. Highly recommended!
