Any time the machine sits for a bit, steam in the line will condense into water and will exit the sprayer as such. You will usually see this when when using it for the first time since you last used it, but it would also occur if it sits for a few minutes between uses. If the amount you're seeing seems larger than an ounce or two of water, it might be more than normal- in this case, please call our customer care line at 800-537-4129 or reach us at karcher-help.com
Dear Customer, while the SC3 could be used to steam fabric in some situations, we highly recommend using a garment steamer instead to steam clothes. Hope this helps, Karl, Karcher Customer Care Team
This machine is poor quality
No, it will not start without filter
Hi Terri, yes the SC 3 Steam Cleaner can be used on tubs/showers. If the soap scum on your tub/shower has been built up over a long period of time, we recommend first removing the outer layer with the detergent of your choice and a good scrub. The SC 3 will then be able to finish the job for a sparkling tub/shower that looks just like new! I hope this helps, Karl from Customer Care
