does it have to be undermounted?

AnswerThe rim is finished on the top so it can be top mounted as well as undermounted. It does not have clips attached for top mounting but a good bead of 100% silicone is all that would be needed to secure it to the countertop.

Karran bar sink. Great Product!! Excellent Packaging!
Great sink. This is our second Karran sink. Recently purchased the QU-720 for our Kitchen . The packing is excellent. we have inspected them, and they look to be great quality. Love the color, we purchased brown. We also purchased matching strainer assemblies. They have not been installed as of yet, as we are waiting for our new counter top to arrive. I will share images later

Fantastic Bar Sink
We newly remodeled our kitchen and wanted to continue with the bar sink on the island. We picked this product because it matched our main sink selection and it fit into the cabinet underneath. The sink is beautiful color and arrived very speedily after ordering. We even noticed that the hot water held in the sink stay hot much longer than our old cast iron sink - that was a very pleasant surprise!

I originally was ordering another brand but due to inconsistent pricing on that item and no help ...
I originally was ordering another brand but due to inconsistent pricing on that item and no help from Home Depot customer service I decided to go with this brand as my second choice and I'm glad I did. I received the sink quickly in the mail and it was exactly the same color as my first choice and this sink was substantially cheaper. I also ordered the companion sink strainer and I was happy with that too. The sink was very well packaged also. I'm very happy with my choice.
