This sink is 33" wide on the back and front edges but because the sides are curved, they extend outwards to 34" wide in the middle of either side. A recommended cutout width is 32-3/8" on the front and back edges extending to 33-3/8" in the middle of either side. Front to back cutout size would be 21-3/8".

The sink doesn't seem to include a drain but I also don't see one for purchase with it as a set. ...

The sink model is not available in a set but you can order the color-matched basket strainer separately. Its part number is QBSCN.

Is it safe to drill a second hole in for a water dispenser or soap insert?

Answer

Yes, it is safe to drill a second hole. There are some pre-drilled holes on the underside of the deck to show you where to drill and make the job go easier. I would always drill a small pilot hole first then use a diamond tipped 1-1/2" hole saw and drill from the top of the sink.

If it gets a deep scratch, will the scratch be black or is the sink not black through and through?

The sink is black through and through. While quartz sinks are incredibly durable, scratches could occur over time. Because the sink is the same color through and through, any scratches would certainly will be minimally visible.

Yes this will definitely fit. You may have to enlarge the hole slightly on each end in the middle because of the bowed walls of this model but there is a chance it will fit with no adjustments needed.

This sink seems to be a good value. I used it to replace a Corian undermount sink and the product's 34" size was perfect for the application. A few notes: 1) the "white" is really an off-white. If color is crucial, I recommend ordering the color chips. 2) The finish is a matte finish and it needs to be thoroughly wiped down after use to look totally "clean". 3) The care instructions suggest using a product called "Luster Pro" cleaning oil, which, at $25 for 8 oz seems pretty expensive.

Easy to install, and fits our garbage disposal perfectly. We have only had it a couple of weeks, but we love it! It's big enough for all our larger dishes, or washing smaller dogs.

I really wanted a white ceramic sink, but couldn’t find one big enough with one basin. Saw this one and was worried about all the reviews about breakage. It came in a free days before the estimated time. I checked it before we walked out the door and it was fine. It fit in my hole and looks great! Everyone actually liked it better than the ceramic sink since my countertops are shiny and this provides a good contrast. I got the white one.

Maybe other people had better luck, but as far as my experience is concerned, I'll never recommend or buy another product from this brand. Since I'm "not allowed" to state my full buying experience of this product due to some details going against Home Depot's guidelines for a review, I can only state the second issue I ran into. The clips the sink came with wouldn't even "Slide into the pre-cut slots" as the instructions stated because they were too big. They only made it about a 1/4 of the way into the slit and just got stuck there. I used a rubber mallet on a couple of them, but that just ended up breaking the clips. I ended up having to take a razor blade and trim the clips down thin enough to actual "Slide into the pre-cut slots". Very frustrating as I feel like I shouldn't have to "make" it work. I was finally able to get the sink installed, but as I stated, I'm not recommending Karran brand to anyone. I gave it 2 stars because I was able to make it work and got it installed, but other than that, it deserves a 1

We are sorry to hear the clips did not slide easily into the pre-cut slots on the sink. They do take some tapping with a hammer to ensure they are secure but they certainly should have been easier than they were for you. We are inspecting all stock of that model to see if it was an isolated case as we have not had any issues in the past such as the one you indicate. While our quartz sinks have 8 to 12 clip locations depending on the model, we do find minimal clips are need to secure the sink since the sink should always be installed with a good bead of silicone to secure and seal it to the countertop surface. That in itself, combined with the sinks weight, tend to hold it securely. karran
