AnswersI use the hose so didn't pay attention to the bucket capacity. I no longer have the box either. I pulled out the direction booklet and it did not say, only when full to empty it. So, I pulled out the bucket and used a measuring cup to see how much water it will hold. I filled 30 CUPS worth of water in it. At this point the level rose and the red bead in the window was at the top so I think this is the amount of water that will make the unit shut off until someone empties the bucket.
Does the fan run continuously or does it shut off when it reaches the desired humidity?

AnswersI don't think so, though I haven't really delved into it. I plan to plug mine into a plug in on/off timer to provide the same function. If you do this be sure the timer will handle the almost 8 amps the unit draws.

I have had it in service for 3 weeks removing moisture in the basement. Well built unit with large capacity. Like the look of the unit and the hose option that feeds directly into the floor drain. I wish the unit was quieter. Pickup option at HD worked great since unit was not in stock at nearby stores.

Fast delivery right to my front door. Arrived in perfect shape. Easy to move around on the wheels. Easy to assemble a hose to the back. Once set up it started to immediately drip water. It cycles on and off to clear the humidity in my basement washroom. I hang a lot of my clothes up on lines to dry and now they dry much faster. There is no musty odor in the washroom anymore. It is no louder than running an air conditioning unit or my furnace, typical noises you would hear in basements.

Nice, portable dehumidifier on wheels and will pull the moisture out, but not enough to get the humidity level down to where it should be in our 1200 sq. ft. basement. The biggest complaint is the short cord and is a 3 prong plug (it did not state that info on the box or on the HD website. Good system for the price.
