Works great. Wanted an alarm that I didn’t have to keep changing the batteries. Definitely worth it. I put them on all three levels in my house.

After installing fixture motion detector not working, light will come on for 12 seconds and go out and never come back on. Made adjustments still not working.

Hello, this smoke alarm doesn't have a fixture motion detector. I think this review is for the wrong product.

False alarms, always at night
Installed two of these a month ago, one in a hallway near a bathroom and one in bedroom by door. Hallway unit seems fine, have had no issues. Bedroom unit has gone off twice in back-to-back nights waking everyone up. I don't know if the hush button does anything because it rang right through me pushing it. I had to deactivate it at 2 am by discharging the 10-year built in battery, so that unit is trash and has to be replaced after one month. Do not recommend.

I bought the smoke detector a few months back and hooked it up today (3/19/2023). I tried to test it and it's no good. I spent good hard earned money with Kidde and got junk. Im sure other people have gotten good stuff from them. I don't think I'll buy any thing from them in the future.

Excellent and easy to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Kiddie Smoke alarms for a few weeks now and they are easy to install, have a sleek design and seem to be working well. They simply attach and screw on very easily, come with a 10 year warranty and sound very loud when the button is pressed. I like the features in terms of the test button, the hush button and the 10 year warranty. It was even better that they come in a twin pack! I hope to continue to keep my family safe using these Kiddie smoke alarms.

Feel a lot safer and secure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel a lot more safer and secure knowing I have these two smoke alarms in my home now. Super easy to install and comes with all the hardware for installation. I won't have to worry about constantly checking and changing the batteries with the ten-year sealed-in lithium battery. I suffer from hearing loss and the alarm in this is loud enough that I can hear it without having my hearing aids in. The alarm has a hush button that will temporarily silence the alarm if activated. I set mine off because I accidentally burnt food I was cooking and the smoke in the air set the alarm off. This also has a test/reset button it as well. I can't recommend this enough. It could help save lives and your home!

Peace of Mind!

Install them on an anniversary or make a note to help you remember a decade from now to change. Price point is affordable and installation is easy peasy.

10-Years of No Battery Beeps!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely easy to install. I was able to use one of the existing screw holes from a previous smoke detector. This Kidde smoke detector 2-pack has pre-installed batteries with a 10-year life expectancy. That means 10 years of no annoying dead battery beeps that always seem to happen in the middle of the night. The detector is activated once you twist it onto the installation bracket. Push the button to test (yes, it works and is loud--the family cat zoomed off!) My husband's cooking then tested it again a few days later when the kitchen filled with smoke. Happy with this detector and highly recommend.
