These are battery operated smoke detectors, no wiring. These are not what you should be looking at
maybe.... idk for sure you may have to take off the old ones and put these on wall.
Agreed. Same happened with me. See my review about random false alarms. I am not hardwired. Battery only.
Don't use this detector. It's a battery-operated single station unit that cannot be connected into a multi-station system.
Yes, as far as I know
Hello Del, Thanks for reaching out. No. these are stand alone battery operated units. The do not wirelessly interconnect.
don't smoke detectors now have to come with 10 year sealed batteries?
Plastic bracket to wall / ceiling mount, along with plastic anchors & screws. You provide the screwdriver!
Why would you put one outside the home? Doubt they would be very effective and it won’t wake you up inside?? Usually it’s best to put one in or near every bedroom.
Usually the beep means the battery is getting weak, but if the detector is is ten years old it has really also reached near the end of the life of it and it is safer to replace the detector for your safety that it works as it should for your safety.
