Terrible
Zero attention to detail given when this door was built. First of all this "pine" is more like balsa wood. Door gets dented and the wood gets pressed in everytime it contacts another surface. Lightly rubbing my fingernail across the door produces deep marring and gouges in the wood. The door frame is made of finger jointed sections about 6 in long. Shorter in some places. they tried to use wood filler but its already cracked and sunk in. The trim that was added around the bottom section is damaged and poor quality to begin with. Don't waste your money. $250 for a door that is trashed from the factory is not worth it.

One of the worst purchases in my life. This door is very fragile, the joints came off in 2 days after hinged in. Very expensive for this quality. Very poor engineering and carpentering. Would not recommend to anyone...

If a negative five stars were possible that's the rating that would be given here. These are high-priced junk at over $400 for a pair. We ordered two doors to install French style on a screen porch. The first shipment had one door with a full length crack in the side rail, so it was returned and replaced. Stuff happens, right? Then both doors were painted according to the vendor instructions - two coats of exterior oil primer and two coats of exterior paint. Everything done properly. Within 10 days of installing both the doors the joints began to crack on one. Now, after 14 days, all the joints on both doors are separating and the finger joints in the side rails are separating. There are cracks everywhere! As installed, these are "mild service" doors. We are two 70 year olds with no one else here to use the doors, so it's not like we have kids running in and out and popping the doors. If that were the case these doors would already be toothpicks. They look nice in the picture but that's it. They aren't the quality that we paid for. They are junk, and we have many hours in sanding, painting and installation, only to require it be done all over again with other doors. We sure like the style but there will be no more of these!
Don't buy these doors!

This screen door replaced a door built by the customers father. It was great that we could trim both top and bottom of the door to make it fit properly. The customer seemed to like it.

After going through two cheap screen doors on my porch I decided to spend a little more and get a real wood door. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The Elmwood Natural Pine is a heavy and well constructed door and I especially like the removable screen (no spline) which will make it easy to paint.
