Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grilling I'm a long time user of kingsford. I tried other brands before, they didn't burn completely. Kingsford burns totally to ash. These reviews saying otherwise is because the cooks don't know about ventilation and watching the fire. I've never had a bad grilling experience with kingsford coals. I won't cook without them. If I'm at a cookout and asked to cook. They better have kingsford or I won't do it. Nothing else compares. Wish I could get them wholesale from the manufacturer.

It burns hot initially and then nothing. The heat just disappears and I’m left with a solid chunk of spent charcoal. I thought maybe it was just a bad bag, but it keeps happening. I’m not one to typically leave reviews, especially bad ones, but this has me frustrated to no end.

When they first offered the twin packs several years ago, they were 20 pounds each at a cheaper sale price point. They then reduced them to 18.6 pounds at the same sale price point. They are now a "new larger size" to 20 pound bags but at a higher sale price point. Still a good value for an excellent product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Charcoal and lighter fluid I have been using this brand for a long time and have spent alot of money in the last few months i have purchased some really poor quality charcoal and fluid . The charcoal taking longer than normal to light and fluid that wont even start the coals its like water so ive gone out and purchased other brands.
