Easy to control settings, fun to use.

Attractive especially the blue interior.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The self cleaning oven takes 4.5 hours and causes the surrounding cabinet to get very hot. There is no option to decrease the number of hours to something more reasonable like 2.5 or 3 hours.
Also, the temperature for baking and convection baking is 25 degrees less than what the display shows.

Nice Oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven works well and has a quiet blower system (versus the GE it replaced).
We are currently awaiting a second replacement oven door cover, which arrived warped. When the box with the first replacement arrived, the local repair person opened it to find a dent in its bottom. No damage to the box, so it was dented when sent.

It's an okay oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in September of 2022. Took delivery in April of 2023. Had it installed in July or 2023. As you can see, this has been a project from the beginning. In general, the oven seems to be okay. It vents out of the front so there is quite a bit of heat at your feet. I will appreciate that more when the snow flies. I also was disappointed with the amount of oil in the bottom of the oven after turning it on to "get rid of the fumes". There was a large baked-on grease blob down the side and onto the bottom of the oven. With all the heat this thing gives off, the last thing I want to do is put a new oven into a self-clean mode in July!! I scrubbed the best I could, but I still do not have it all off. Very disappointing for a new oven. My last comment is on the sound level of the timer. It is too soft to be trusted. Alexa is my go-to timer now.

An expensive mistake with no solution
We have the KOSE500ESS single wall oven. We were so excited about its beautiful blue interior and extra depth. All was good for awhile. Then the dreaded F2E1 error message began appearing whenever we baked anything that produced steam (veggies, meat etc.). We had several technicians look at it and we have since had the control panel replaced twice because steam is getting into the electronics and frying the board. Thanksgiving dinner has been ruined. My husband’s birthday dinner has been ruined. This is a known problem to KitchenAid but they keep producing this faulty model. Google the issue and you’ll find thousands of complaints about the same thing. I wish I had never bought it.
