This little grinder does its job!
Customer review from kitchenaid.com logo
Sleek and matched my mixer and blender. Easy to use and grinds with the touch of a finger. Different grind times allow you to get the perfect grind for French press, auto-drip, espresso and more. Very easy to clean. A must have for every coffee enthusiast. My old one moms 50’s KitchenAid wore out after almost 70 years. With appliances that last this long why buy anything else. LOVE MY KITCHENAID! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Grindes perfectly
Customer review from kitchenaid.com logo
I bought it to grind some coffee that I brought from Vietnam and it has a good blade you can stop grinding whenever you want to and get the consistency that you like. I grinded finely for a French press and it was very nice grinded. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Beware the per cup markings
Customer review from kitchenaid.com logo
Just got a BCG1110B a few days ago. We replaced the coffee pot at the same time. It took me a few days to check the fill lines and compare them to what it says in the user manual. I found that the 12 cup mark is 18 tablespoons, not 14 as it says in the manual. In fact all of the lines are for a number of tablespoons equal to 1.5 x number of cups. (I checked with several measuring device) Also note that the 8 to 10 distance and 10 to 12 distance are both one cm so it is unlikely the volume differences would be 3 and 2 tbsp. Anyway, it is easy to adjust, and I like being able to pour the coffee into grinder rather than count coffee scoops. Just beware, and perhaps the user manual can be updated or the markings on the grinder corrected in the next redesign.

This model has a major flaw, coffee leak out!!!
Customer review from kitchenaid.com logo
I recently bought this coffee grinder. The motor power is good however the lid doesn't seal the bowl when grinding therefore everything is spread out of the coffee bowl and it goes either between the bowl and lid or under the bowl. It makes a mess. I hope Kitchenaid comes back with a resolution for this flaw or I'll return the device.

Not happy with the mess
This product was such a huge disappointment, and went straight into the donation bag. The very first time I used this, it was to grind about 2 tablespoons of black peppercorns, it went every where. It just looks like a gasket or lip around the top of the metal cup could possibly help. This is just a very poor designed product.

It's not exactly what I thought it was. I thought...
It's not exactly what I thought it was. I thought you you could set how fine or course you grind, but the courseness is determined by how long you hold the cover down. It is fine but not what I expected.
