1 Gal. Floor Adhesive Remover

Great product for removing floor adhesive. I did a lot of research and many of the products out there were caustic and flammable. The floor I needed to remove the adhesive from was next to a boiler room and didn't have any windows, so those products wouldn't work. Klean-strip worked great but there is a process to follow that is the most efficient based on what others said online and my own experience. First, spread the product with a brush. Cover it thoroughly. If you go too thin it doesn't work as well. Next, cover the area that you applied Klean Strip to with a plastic sheet. This allows it to stay wet and active. Wait about 2 hours, then remove the plastic. Use a hand trowel or scraper and remove all of the product/glue from the surface. Next, I used a scrub brush with a bucket of warm, soapy water. I scrubbed the concrete, removing any stubborn glue from the floor. I then let it dry and did a second coat. The first application removed most of the glue but a second coat was necessary to get the rest off. A 3rd application may be necessary to remove those more stubborn spots, but for my purposes, 2 coats was enough.

I was a bit skeptical to try to his because of the negative reviews but i did anyway, and it was a success!

Pulling up the carpet in our basement in a 40 yard old house. Check out the pictures.. the carpet glue was basically as thick as the carpet pad! I laid this down thick and heavy.. rolled it out and let it sit for an hour. It did great! That carpet glue was turning to dust before I got this stuff! 10/10 recommend! I am a petite woman and not very strong, and this and a heavy duty scraper worked SO WELL!

used on really old linoleum. used paint roller to apply and covered in plastic. went over it with a scraper about 2 hours later and just came right up. I'm guessing those that had trouble didn't cover it up to keep it wet

Does not work .. save your money and most of all save your time.. i reapplied twice and it did not work for me so i give it 0 stars..

I was doubtful in this product, but it worked great!! I needed to remove black (asbestos?) mastic on a closet floor. I wanted to use the MR500 Blue Bear brand product - I had seen that work magic in a lot of YouTube videos, but I couldn’t find it at my Home Depot so grabbed the Klean Strip. I put it on and followed up in an hour. The areas that didn’t have as much product on did need some elbow grease with the scraper, but still came up readily. In the areas that had the product on thick, the mastic came up with no pressure at all. A bear to clean up that goop afterwards! But, all done now!!

We where in the process of doing a remodel on one of our bathrooms in the house and the previous owners had laid linoleum with so much floor adhesive it was taking us weeks to get it all off the floor so.we could finish and lay our tile flooring down . Thank God for this stuff and I wished we would of had it when we first started the flooring . It removed what was left of the adhesive with ease . Getting it all off the floor made the job so much quicker and easier and alot less strain on our backs beings on our hands and knees trying to use a floor scarper to do it . It was fast acting and we let it sit for about five minutes while it worked its magic . After returning g to the bathroom we lightly used a bigger floor scraper and it all came up so easy with no residue left over .

Stripped a rug from overhead storage and was left with substantially thick carpet adhesive. Mineral spirits was just not cutting it. This was an in stock item. Did not have much ventilation and was not overwhelmed by smell or chemical. I’m usually sensitive to both. It was thick enough to brush on the underside of the storage and it did not drip down. Returned in an hour and a half and pretty much just wiped way with a dry cloth.Minimal effort and it did not harm adjacent vinyl surface. I definitely recommend this.

This product easily removed mastic as well as paint that was on the concrete floor. I used a 4 inch scrapper to remove the glue and paint. Make sure to let it soak in for a few hours. The best part is the product is low odor and easy to clean up.

Spread the adhesive remover down and let it sit for about 2 hours. Glue from an old laminate floor came right up off of my concrete sub floor like butter.
