  • 3/16 in wide tape features lightweight fiberglass construction

Protect yourself electrical wires and equipment with Klein Tools' non-conductive fiberglass fish tape. This fish tape is made with a non-conductive tape, tip and case for added protection against energized circuits. This new non-conductive fish tape minimizes the potential human risk and equipment damage that can occur if live circuits are present. The non-conductive fish tape and eyelet tip slide easily over existing wires and through multiple bends.
  • Exclusively designed streamlined eyelet tip incorporates a wire trough so wire pulling head is smaller for easier navigation through packed conduit
  • Strong, lightweight fiberglass fish tape and composite tip resists harsh job site elements and is strength rated for up to 500 pulling pounds
  • Raised finger grips help transfer 100% of the winding power from your hand and fingers
  • Unique sloped handle optimizes the position of your hand for quick hand-over-hand rewinds and allows a more level payout of tape on the backswing while feeding conduit
  • 13 in. Case diameter means you can reel in 15 % more tape in a single revolution vs. a standard 12 in. case
  • Repair kit available (56025)
  • Tape size: 100 ft. L x 3/16 in. W (30 m x 4.8 mm)

limit to number of bends ?

I have about 40 ft of grey 1/2" conduit with six 90 degree bends. I'm having trouble just getting the Klein 56022 fish tape all the way thru http://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-50-ft-Non-Conductive-Fiberglass-Fish-Tape-56022/203789532 argh. I used lubricant. Is there a limit to the number of 90 degree turns allowed ? Thanks, Don
Asked by: Don
Bear in mind that the National Electrical Code allows up to 360° of bends in the conduit between pull boxes. So if you have 6 - 90° bends, you need to add a condulet or junction box. Plus it would make the job of pulling conductors more managable.

It was a waist of good money for this project. We ended up using an air compressor and pushed a bag on a string down the conduit. Fish tape $100 ~ air, string and a Home Depot bag $4
