I needed these scissors for a project that I didn't start until a couple of months after purchase...
I needed these scissors for a project that I didn't start until a couple of months after purchase. I suspect that these scissors were not intended for reheading a djembe with a cowhide head, but that is what I used them for. Product description mentions that these scissors are used in automotive work removing flash from rubber. I used these scissors to cut several holes in wet cowhide and to trim extra/unneeded wet cowhide from a djembe head. The curvature of the blades and cutting strength near the tips of the blades made cutting and trimming wet cowhide much less arduous than it would otherwise be. I can't go 5 stars until these scissors continue to work well over some years of use.
