      A:  This tool crimps 24 ga. CSRM and 28 ga. SSSM. It is not intended for use with end caps on a gutter, but if your materials are these gauges or thinner the tool should be able to crimp them.

        A:  I don't believe this tool will work for this application. The tool only makes shallow (1/8" deep) crimps that are spaced 1/4" apart, very much like the corrugation on a downspout. I don't think these shallow, widely space crimps would secure a gutter end cap properly.
