Such a solid and feature rich multimeter
This thing is rock solid. Makes fluke meters feel like toys. Definitely has a noticable rigidity and quality feel that most clamp meters lack. Flukes and ideal meter feel cheap. They measure fine and all but don't have the robust build that this does. Combine the build quality with the accuracy and rich feature set and you can't beat Klein for the money either.

Great meter with lots of features for the price
After reading the reviews from others and looking at the price for features this meter has I went with the Klein CL800 for my A/C and electrical jobs. So far it works great and the accuracy is fine for field work.

Ok meter, hard to read screen and no tone with NCV
Good feature set and feels good in the hand. I just hate how faded the screen gets at an angle or when I turn on the backlight. The last thing I want to do is have to stick my head in a box to view the screen or twist some wire. Also the NCV has no tone alarm, so strange. Normally I'm a big fan of Klein but I'm a pass on this tool. Fluke or Ideal clamp meters for me.

quick & easy. [HD needs to increase review limit]
voltage reading is my reason for getting this.
a 2-3' extension makes perfect ..
i added outlets & switches years ago & getting little shocks ,,
but all is good finally with this tool .
i suspect it was static carpet shocks.

This is a great tester with which you can test...
This is a great tester with which you can test and diagnose variety of problems such as improper wiring, faulty grounds, timing for tripping of GFCI receptables and most importantly - voltage fluctuations. This is particularly helpful when you need to diagnose and service generators, flickering lights due to deteriorating connections on your main panel and so on. For the price, it is a must have in every service van and toolbelt and a very good addition to a home's repair kit.

This is the best gfci tester I’ve seen. You can check voltages on a gfci receptacle or a regular one. It also tells you how fast the gfci trips

Good for voltage, amperage, etc., but not for temperature.
Overall, the clamp meter is of good quality with acceptable results, when comparing it to the Klein MM700 multimeter. The discrepancy comes with using the thermocouple on the clamp meter. There was a sizable, erroneous difference when measuring ambient air temperature in a dwelling. My MM700 read 66.0F while the CL800 read 152.3. Upon switching my banana adapter and thermocouple from the MM700 to the CL800, the ambient temperature was only 0.7 degrees different than my multimeter.
I contacted Klein Tools, informing them that I only wanted a new thermocouple and adapter. Unfortunately, they wanted the entire clamp meter with accessories back. Klein Tools, being a solid company, sent me a whole new CL800 clamp meter within 4 days. While there is some difference in temperature readings with the new CL800, I will use it more for voltage/amperage readings.
As for the GFCI tester, I love it!
