Holy heavy duty knee pads Batman!
I like that the pads have adjustable straps with hooks versus the usual Velcro that wears out. The strap doesn't bunch up behind the knee, but I do prefer two thin straps (vs one) since I get heated behind the knees. They're a bit awkward to walk in and 5 layers of protection seems like overkill -- rubber, gel, and foam, yada, yada-- but they are certainly comfortable when I'm on my knees. I used them to do a few hours of tile work and was not disappointed. The pads look a bit like something from a Transformers movie. And while the packaging looks like a child's toy, these knee pads are no joke.

    Most comfortable knee pads
Received these knee pads and used these to work on my hardscaping. Right away I noticed the level cushion they had. You could use these all day long and not even flinch. The front of the pads are nearly bulleproof. They will stand up to almost anything. I just had knee surgery 2 months ago and was concerned about the protection of my knee. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend.

    Really takes a load off
I have gotten to where just a few minutes on my knees almost brings me to tears. These Tradesman Pro knee pads are a life saver. My latest project of laying a paver patio went so much easier with the help of these knee pads and prevented the constant breaks that I would have needed without them. Pros: Very comfortable and stable when on the ground Easy strap adjustment Fast on and off Cons: Awkward to walk with them on (remedied with the easy removal) A little pricey for what they are Overall I would recommend. Improved productivity and improved health.

    Your knees will thank you.
So I'm a long-time DIYer that on occasion takes on projects that are a little ambitious. For example, a couple of years ago I put in a 600 sq ft paver block patio area and a 2,000 sq ft sport court (using concrete block as the base for the sport court tile). These would have come in really handy for those projects as my knees got very sore after many days on them. I guess my only experience with knee pads was with cheap ones because I assumed they wouldn't really make a difference. I was very wrong. So last Saturday, I finished putting in a stone fire pit and wall and spent a couple hours on my knees with these pads - my knees feels great. The gel-filled padding took my full weight (about 220lbs) without any issues and the exterior of the knee pad performed well. My pros and cons are as follows: Pros: - Gel padding is great - very soft, but still stable - The knee pad itself is a hard rubber type material so has a little given and provides some traction - Looks and feels like a quality product - stitching looked good and it seems like it will be durable Cons: - A little expensive unless you're going to use for more than a couple hours a year (or have bad kness) - The strap that keeps it on your leg has a little bit of padding and is wide (both good things), but I think if you were going to wear shorts while wearing them, you might have an issue with chafing - In terms of comfort, I feel like it might have been better with a strap above the knee and one below the knee. Could be wrong though... - The clasp for the strap (see picture) is plastic rather than metal. Although it doesn't get a lot of strain, that seems like it would be the first thing to break. One other recommendation I would have for the manufacturer, is to have an additional angle built into the exterior of the knee pad so you have a "rocker" point as you go from standing up to having the knee pads flat on the ground. This would just allow you to more comfortably transfer from standing up to being on your knees or vice versa. Would also allow you to "sit back on your heels" more easily to take a break. Again, all-in-all, I'm very happy with them, but they're not quite perfect - 9/10 stars.

Super comfortable, easy to put on, move around in, tighten if needed, and take off again. My knees only ached a tiny bit after crawling around on a floor all day putting tile in, which is perfect.
