    would the Milwaukee bolt marker clip fit into the slot on the side?

    The Klein Tools model # 60105 Hard Hat features universal accessory slots on both sides for attaching hearing protection, face shield and more, but it has not specifically been tested with the bolt marker clip.

    Will any type of headlamp fit in the holder, or do I have to buy a special type of headlamp?

    I tried the Scotch 33 and the Scotch super 88 and the knob is quite a bit too big for either one. So I would say no.

    Klein Tools 60401 Class C, Type 1 Construction Hard Hat – This item number is for the Full Brim Vented Hard Hat with integrated front and rear accessory mounting slots for Klein Tools Headlamps or Klein Tools Work Lights…This hard hat has many well design features Flexible open frame, ratchet adjustable suspension system that fits 6 ½” to 8”, multi-point adjustment allows the sweatband to be raised or lowered, sweat top pad, integrated side slots for the attachment of face shield, hearing protection and adjustable side vents to control air flow…I found this hard hat to be more functional than the traditional baseball cap style hard hat, the side venting is truly appreciated when working whenever the temperature is about 85 degrees…The rechargeable headlamp was not included with this hard hat, I will purchase the rechargeable headlamp as I believe that would be a great accessory…This hard hat performed as indicated, intended and expected without any problems…

    This hard hat is the best hard hat on the market, it’s very comfortable, sturdy, and well built. Overall the best hard hat I’ve ever owned.

    Highly recommended
    I’m a member of Klein Crusaders program. Klein Tools has provided me with free product and additional incentives to provide an honest review of this product. This hard hat is easily the most comfortable hard hats I’ve tried. I wear a hard hat on the job site everyday and with no question I won’t wear another. It has vented option that will keep your head cool in the hotter months, and it does make a difference! Klein has made this for comfort and safety, and it shows and feels that way. It is also good style and the head lamp holder is nice addition. I didn’t take the option of the headlamp but added afterwards and it’s perfect. Highly recommend this and if you are looking for a hard hat, you can just buy this and quit your search! Klein gave me the product to try, but my opinion is mine and the truth!

    Klein gave me free product and incentives to give an honest review of this hard hat. I am an IBEW electrician, and this hard hat is by far the most comfortable hard hat I have ever used. The wicking liner vastly helps on those hotter days and keeps the hard hat secure. The click knob in the back makes it pretty easy to adjust, even with gloves on. The hard hat is a little heavier than most, but feels pretty substantial and the inner support mitigates any neck fatigue that the extra weight may cause. The removable magnetic light is extremely handy, especially when working up in a ceiling with metal framed studs or in a building with pan deck floors. I wish it was a little brighter, though. Also, a rechargeable headlamp would even be more beneficial. But when up close, the headlamp really lights up the work area, it just doesn’t pierce through the darkness over long distances very well. Overall, a very handy buy especially when trying to cut down on the awkwardness of cumbersome PPE. I would highly recommend.

    Very comfortable
    Feels heavy in hand but weightless on your head. Vents are awsome to circulate fresh air around your head. I have what some consider a big head but this fits great with room leftover

    This hard hat is a solid buy. Being Klein already says it's a quality brand. The headgear has extra padding in the top as well as around the brim for extra comfort. I also like that it is cloth and not the cheap vinyl knock-off stuff that made me hate wearing my old hard hat and think about just wearing my welding helmet around all day. The vent fins make a noticeable difference in the middle of summer when you have a welding helmet attached. Any extra airflow is amazing under those circumstances. Unlike off-brand or cheap hard hats, the accessory brackets on the side are great for hearing protection, welding helmets, face shields, etc. The mount on the front and back for the adjustable work light is great. If you're going to spend the money on a hard hat, this is the one to buy, whether it's full brim or not.

    Quality product, as you'd expect from Klein Tools. The breathable, padded sweatband and top pad - along with the easily-adjustable open-frame suspension system - make for a very comfortable wear. Both sweatband and top pad are machine washable. Headlamp mounts both front and back, ready to accept one of Klein's headlamps. Universal accessory slots on both sides, for attaching a face shield, hearing protection or other accessories. If you're in a sweltering work environment, a model with adjustable venting is the way to go.
